Well, from this topic, I decided to find out MBITs of people here too! school-devil

MBIT is a said personality test to not only test your characterstics, but your point of view in life as well.. Mixing the two. For more Information, here is the Wikipedia.

I took the test on 3 different occassions this year, and I am still the unwavering ENFP. poptart
I have to say, this test is pretty accurate for me, describes me perfectly..

I remember taking this when I was in high school, and I got an INTJ.. So I guess things change..

I took the test (shouldn't, I have finals! emot-gonk ) and got ISFJ, which description is quite accurate, with some exceptions; I don't feel I am as good as the ISFJ profile suggests. emot-rofl

(St. Teresa of Avila was an ISFJ? )

I've taken the test consistently over the course of several years, and my result has always been the same: INFP, the Healer Idealist. The description is uncannily and a bit unnervingly accurate. Especially the description of an intense internal world and the tendency to moralize oneself at higher standards than everyone else, to the point of developing an intense obsession with the sacred and the profane.

Seisei, you're supposed to be my mirror relation. "Mirror partners are often very good friends...The main discomfort in these relations is caused by the difference in Judgement and Perception between the partners."

Tamago, our personality types apparently dictate a super-ego relationship. "If Super-Ego partners cannot find common interests, their interaction can become very formal. This expression comes from the confident side of one of the partners reaching the unconfident side of the other partner."

Surprisingly, Iris, we're not supposed to get along at all. I call bullcrap on that one, so I won't even bother.

Got the information from here, but it kind of seems like a waste of space to me.

You remember that we all (most likely) answered the questions based on what sort of person you are IRL as opposed to what sort of person you are online as peoples (including myself) tend to become different people thanks to the safety of the internets.

That would account to some extend to any discrepancies(SIC?) in the findings.

JelliKatz, wow. That's harsh. We're "negative to each other psychologically." I know that Kaelyndra is the same sign, and the three of us get along just fine, so, I declare this bull.

Well, and the very basis of personality testing is a bit suspect. There's always the controversy of consistent traits vs. the social cognitive theory. I am more inclined to think that my assessment is accurate because I've taken it in several forms over the course of six years without any variation in my result. But for different people, the results are different. And of course online personas do vary greatly from IRL, as you noted. Which is a very good point.

Very different sources, Iris. I think I like a lot yours better and it's a lot more accurate describing our lovely dynamic *tackeglomp*. We are indeed the Pals.

Stephanie and purplepolecat, you two are apparently my advisers according to Iris's source. Now which one of you shall I refer to as Mistress? Hmmmm...

My answer will go from INFP to INTP depending on the day. It's always a really close call, so I identify myself as both.

Edit: Mmn. I did it again today and got INTP with a mere one percent preference of T over F. emot-tongue

Though, for any relationship to work, it's not only the MBIT, should also be how much dedication and time each people give to each other, it may even beat the non-compatibles..
