PUPPY!!!!!
It's a boy, and his name is Oso. I don't know why I haven't said anything about it, but we've gotten a puppy. We picked him out... five weeks ago, more or less, and mom just picked him up earlier today.
And then I took him out to go to the bathroom and he fell down the steps and hurt his left foreleg. So I feel terrible about that...

....the last thing I said was cute was a gun. But it was tiny! And adorable! I really liked it!

So people wanted pictures and names. Pictures are really hard because the lighting in the room sucks and I was using my phone, so I'm making up for that with....VIDEO!
We originally had other names for them, but once they came home these names stuck to them.
Valkyrie (the whiter one) is a psycho killer. She will literally spend an hour beating the everloving fuck out of her toys. She's brutal. But then she exhausted herself, cleaned my leg, purred like a buzzsaw, and fell asleep on my lap.
D'Artagnan is a show-off. He poses for you, gives you lovey eyes, and then tries to leap off you no matter the height. At first he was more showy and greedy and we were thinking to name him Valmont, but after five or six leaps he's not ready for so he flops onto the ground like a sack of potatoes we had to go with something more swashbucklery. He's meowing more than Val, so I suspect he'll be the yappy one. He has also fallen asleep on me already.
They're adorable little hellions, and I'm stoked they're adjusting so well to us already. They're loving us, grooming us, purring, using the litter box, eating well, and drinking from a fountain that we were warned cats are initially afraid of.

I just thought of one of my favorite cat videos when I was debating what kind of cat I would like to get. It just seemed that a Maine Coon would be my favorite choice. Yes, I am a cat fan. I like dogs also, but cats are much cuter.

UGH WHATEVER, I'M THIRSTY

Maine Coons are gentle, gentle long hairs. They chirp and will love you but they do need some grooming help, due to their long hair. However: Maine Coons are some of the less grooming-intensive long-hairs. They are true gentle giants and if you live somewhere cold, you may notice their snowshoe paws-they're huge and made for walking on the said snow! They are excellent family pets.

(Sorry for double posting)
I apologize if any of you are squeamish with insects, but I gotta share what I think is perhaps the cutest insect I've ever seen. It's the Rosy Maple Moth. So fuzzy and colorful...
