In the Rose Garden / Utena Crossovers...?

My muse is a vicious little monster that strikes at the most inopportune times and won't shut up until I write/draw/do something. And it likes crossovers....

After I finish the Utena multi-chapter fic I'm working on now-

-I'm hoping to do a crossover of RGU with something else. Here are a few of my Xover fantasies:

Star Wars-Duelists with lightsabers, Utena as a Jedi, some lesbians in a spaceship, it's all good! emot-dance (yeah, I'm a geek.)

Laputa/Castle in the Sky-Because Utena and Anthy dressed as Pazu and Sheeta gets my little gay heart a-thumpin' etc-love And Akio would make a great Muska.

The Itty Bitty Titty Commitee-Obscure film about a group of ultra-radical feminists. There's a scene where they put a statue of a phallus over the Washington Monument and blow it up as a protest. I've imagined it with Akio's tower instead on occasion.

Pokemon-Because I freaking love it. And Duelists in Pokemon battles would be kinda badass etc-love

I'd like to know if you would read any one of these if I wrote them. They'd have Utena x Anthy, probably, because I'm lame and can't write anything without that particular pairing right now.

If you have any suggestions, let me know, because I'm just brainstorming right now.

IBTC fanfic FTW! I don't know who would play who but it sounds like an awesome idea. You could put in pretty much everyone somehow, somewhere. In fact can I beta-read it? Revolutionary riot grrl says please emot-keke ??

Also I like the Pokemon idea. I can imagine the duellists all being pokemon themselves though, (Juri is such a Ninetails) but thats just me and my crazy mind.

To answer the first question, I think I'd have Juri as the bitchy radical one with glasses (don't remember their names...) for sure; I'm not sure who'd be in the C(i)A to begin with, Utena or Anthy- probably the latter. I'm a rampant U/A shipper, of course school-devil I'm thinking of gender-bending a few of the guys to make up for a lack of female cast members. That'd be kinda freaky, wouldn't it...?

Secondly, I agree with you on that-Juri is such a Ninetales. I thought Utena's main pokemon would be a Prinplup/Empoleon, because it's a cute little animal that evolves into something "princely". I bet Touga would have a Mawile XD (And Saionji would have a Sceptile for sure, it's perfect for him...)

Lastly, I'm actually hoping to find someone to beta-read my current project (the one in the link) if you're interested? Once I'm done with that is when I'll probably do one of these.

Holy gramoley yes!!! I will indeed beta-read anything you want me to emot-keke . I just got to get round to filling in the form on fanfiction.net but if theres a way to send me files otherwise do it (my username is the same as on here.) I've never done it before but I'd love give it a go, just tell me what kind of pointers you want (plot/characterization, or just spelling and grammar?) I'm starting to become a fanfic addict, so anything just gimme etc-wankgirl .

I need to rewatch the movie to remember everyone but I can see Saionji being one of the people at the plastic surgery clinic if he was a girl of course. It'd be interesting to see how you make out Anthy to be in the CiA to begin with, unless it was actually run by Akio, and wasn't a radical feminist group at all... emot-aaa Sorry I'm stealing your ideas. Take it and run!

I fail at being a pokemon master. I've still not played Diamond and Pearl yet so I don't know what those pokemon are at all emot-frown . The first 152 are engraved into my mind though, but feel free to use the others I can always pokedex.

Thanks for reminding me I need to watch Laputa Castle in the Sky.

I'd prefer to use the site itself, but whatever's most convenient emot-smile I'm just looking for general critique as I am a whore for constructive criticism. I tend to cover spelling on my own, as I'm a walking spell-check and the enemy of all chat speak.

I'd give a summary of the story I linked in the starting post, but the problem is I have yet to figure out how to tell people what it's about without spoiling it.

It's an Utena x Anthy fic despite all appearances (and an AU 'cuz I just love taking pre-made characters and sticking them in my own universes) and the whole point is figuring out what happened to Utena, who is a nobleman's daughter who mysteriously disappeared when she was twelve. I can't give much more than that, sorry...

I'll probably have the second chapter finished by the end of the week, and I can send it to you emot-biggrin
