This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
It is "unpainted" foto, so it can be made red or black.
Official merchandise ring is good, but expensive
Also, if I understand things true, official ring quickly looses it's color , while scratching - and this ring not, cause "color lines" are "hiden".

most of the originals were made of tin.. there was a limited edition silver one that came with a phone card, and the movie one might have been silver too.
you've got a much nicer replica than the basic one movic was selling. : )

Will your jeweler friend make more on commission. I'm willing to purchase one. I'm trying very hard to get as many different duelist rings as I can for the Rose Signet Galley. See link in my signature. A major system crash on my laptop has prevented a long-awaited update, but I'm still working on it.

Ladies and Getlemen!
I'll be glad to help all of You with this rings
BUT
first of all, please be sure to understand :
1) Ring is painted not on rose petals (as we see in SKU Series or Movie).
The ring will look just like ring on foto: priks (looking black on foto) can become red or black on Your request.
2) Price will be 120$ for any size - this includes shipping worldwide.
3) I've got to be pre-payed before asking jeweller to start working.
In a common conditions (if jeweller is too busy to perform Your request- I'll inform You before, so You can hold Your payment), You can get Your ring after a few weeks (three-four) after payment.
4) Will send via regular Airmail with tracking number.
5) I am living in Eastern Europe (Ukraine, one of the ex-USSR countries), so the only possibility for payment I can give You right now, it is payment on my Credit Card. Possibly, in September PayPal possibility will be aded, but I am not sure right now.
So if everything is clear and acceptable - please leave Your requests (size , color, shipping adres) right here or via PM .
Then I will send you payment data via PM .
Thank You.

I'm still very interested, but I have a few questions first.
1) What type of metal is this? Silver? Sterling Silver? An alloy? Dare I ask, titanium?
2) Is the signet face carved or painted? If it is carved, is it done by machine or hand?
3) How is payment handled?
Offline
1) Sterling Silver.
2) Carved. By hand.
3) Material, jewellers work, shipping and handling.
You a free to ask anything - it is understandable and presumed.

3) Lol. I meant how is it handled? Paypal? Xoom? Money order, etc?

But now I can say- PayPal is also possible right now.

That looks brilliant! And since it's hand-made and includes silver, the price is also very reasonable.
Too bad I don't have a credit card or debit card. I guess I'm a little bit old-fashioned since I always pay in cash when I buy something
Seems like Ukraine isn't in the IBAN area. A transfer to your account could get rather tricky. Of course I could theoretically send you dollars, euros or hryvnias via snail mail, but I don't feel like trusting the mailmen that much.
Anyway, I'm glad for you. Your friend did a good job.

It's Your choice to decide (got it a couple of times from abroad), but the risk is high, You are right.
Also You can just visit a bank and send me cash on Credit card or PayPal account, isn't it so?

Just a note to everyone-- don't ever, ever do this. Sending cash through the mail is a very good way to lose your money.
However, you can get money orders from your bank for a small fee, and those are safe to send through the mail. Theoretically you can get them in whatever currency you want, and they are safe for the mail because they cannot be cashed except by the person they are made out to. So as long as you have the real name of the person you are sending money to (which is a good idea in any case) and they agree to take a money order, you can send the money that way.

Some Years ago people sent me dollars in a foil and customs never saw it
But it's ok with PayPal or Western Union (ask Your bank) even if not having a Credit card.

If you really need to send money by mail, put it in an empty CD case, or something like that. It'll minimize the risk, but really, it's best to just use money transfer services if even remotely possible. Technically its against the rules of most mail services, since they don't want to deal with complaints of it dissappearing.

GRRRR. I keep working overtime to pay for this, and other expenses keep popping up.
This week, it was an emergency trip to the vet for our poor kitty who couldn't urinate.
