Basically the question is whether or not they'll actually start adapting post-eclipse material. If they do, it'll be the best thing ever and the fandom will explode with new members and everything. If all they can do is yet another adaptation of the golden age arc... well, that'd be really, really, super hella disappointing and horribad.

Any and all Berserk anime run into the same problem, in that the manga is still on-going so they must be partial adapatations. That is why the movies, while interesting, do little more than re-tread the exact same material that the original anime already covered...with some dreadful CGI, too.
It would make more sense to wait until the manga is over to then do a full adaptation if they are so keen on having more Berserk anime.

In Berserk's case where there are about 250 chapters worth of un-adapted material, a partial adaptation could still turn out great. I mean look at Hunter x Hunter, It adapted about 300 chapters of an ongoing manga and it's considered one of the best anime to come out in recent years.

FANGIRLING INTENSIFIES

ahem.

Anyway, looking at those videos just makes me think of how much of SKU came from this particular arc of SM.

Re: Current Anime

I highly recommend this season's Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, especially for people who like subtly conveyed emotions and teh gay. It's a period piece about performers of an obscure form of Japanese theatre called Rakugo, in which one man (always a man) performs a whole play from a seated position. It's exquisitely directed and very compelling, despite the seemingly dry subject matter.

Please please do yourself a favor and  watch this! It's so good, I've fallen in love with it. I'm really hoping it gets a second season.  Even if you don't necessarily like episode 1, stick with it because (minor spoiler)[ the rest of the season is a flashback. ]

I'll show you a sight you've never seen before.

Haruka's voice tho...you can hear her singing in the ED...all I can say is her old seiyuu is a hard number to follow.

Re: Current Anime

I'm now watching Lupin III, Blue Jacket
Jigen is my man 8)

Also watching Yuri!! On Ice
How delightful that a series with yuri in the name is actually a show about two boys names yuri, ice skating, and probably a lot of yaoi fanbating! Ah, Japan, never change.

Little bit of trivia that connects those two shows. The director of Yuri on Ice, Sayo Yamamoto, also directed A Woman named Fujiko Mine.

And, despite being so deep in the closet that I'm chums with Mr Tumnus, I gotta say that I did enjoy Yuri on Ice as well. Gotta see how that one turns out.

Not exactly high-brow but instead just stupid-fun, you all should check out ClassicaLoid, about the great composers of the past invading a girl's house and causing music-related mayhem in the surrounding town. I'm eagerly waiting to see the introduction of Chopin who appears to be a shut-in who spends all his time inside an orange crate... And, no, it doesn't make any more sense when you see the show.

Re: Current Anime

I actually did know that bit of trivia for once! I loved the Mine Fujiko series, it got me into Lupin III - and I think Yuri!! On Ice has potential.

Re: Current Anime

Watching Jitsu wa Watashi wa... from last year. Boy who sucks at lying finds out his crush is a vampire and half the school are monsters and aliens and stuff. I'm not 100% on it, but it's super charming and I like that it feels a bit more old school than a lot of stuff these days.

And speaking of that, [keep an eye for the actual marriage proposal. Coming Masayoshi...in the nude. It makes sense in context but...you'll have to wait and see.]
