This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
Chu-Chu pun because he eats things. My wit. Bathe in it.
Anyhoo, pretty self explanatory. This is the food-porn thread. No...not like that. As in, whatever you are craving eatable-wise, post about it here. Include pictures if at all possible. Be descriptive.

Okay at this moment, right now, I REALLY want one Fried Oreo... just one, and trust me that would be enough. I have the pancake batter and the milk... all I need are the oreos...
It doesn't help that I ate a piece of Oreo Cake like two days ago, I can still taste it u__u and I don't even like Oreos that much
[EDIT for pic]

I want dumplings! Crispy bottom, chewy delicious dough up top, filled with spiced veggies and tofu.

Anything Italian.
Drunk pasta, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and olive oil and sausage, cheese-filled ravioli. I just want it warm and gooey and tomato-y, rich and light at the same time. Or crisp and cool but flavorable and salty.
Give it.

I'm craving the dumplings at Jen Jen's. The finest steamed dumplings on earth, I'm telling you. So smooth and soft... and the filling is downright toothsome. Man, I've eaten there like four times in the last two weeks, I just can't get enough!

Heeeey, is that pizza cooked?
I need gorditas. I need them or I will implode.
The internet has no pictures of gorditas though, so here's puffy tacos. They're like gorditas, but lazier. (Taco Bell has no god damned idea what a gordita is, and I'm only finding that and ladies.) They're the most delicious god damned thing ever. And most restaurants seem to have very similar puffy taco and gordita recipes. I prefer the texture of the gordita a bit more though.
...The beans and rice look gross though. Eww. And I prefer no salad.

Yes mam, it's a Margherita pizza with a very thin crust, that is topped with baby arugula and shaved parmesan after it has cooked and the cheese underneath is all melted goodness.

It sounds odd, but I could really go for some fresh bread right now. I am a carb-slut, but it goes great with coffee.

OH GOD this thread came at the right time.
I would kill for cookies and cream ice cream.
We have some in the freezer and it's all I can do not to devour it. Trying to do away with some holiday weight, so no ice cream for me.
Also:
LO MEIN.
I like mine with more veggies, though, and the Chinese place up the street makes it SO DELICIOUS...

It's funny that this thread was here because right now I want some kettle corn. Mmmm...it'd be nice, light, and sweet.

I'd arm wrestle a gorilla for one of my aunt's pork Empanadas. Roasted pork, obscenely spicy sauce, chewy, flaky, sweet crust. It effectively combines an orgasm and cardiac arrest.

I'm really wanting some Chunky Monkey Bread right now. [I bet Chu Chu would approve.] I'll try and remember the recipe as best as I can, but if you find that I'm Doin' It Wrong, please feel free to modify. I'm just doing this nonsense from mammary. Er. Memory. Remember, this is a very sweet and dense bread, you could even say it is a kind of cake, but I don't care. Is bread.
RECIPE
6 medium-to-large frozen bananas, smooshed
1/3 cup melted butter
1 cup sugar
3 bars semi-sweet baking chocolate, roughly chopped
¼ cup walnuts, well-diced
2 medium eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 teaspoons almond extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 or 2 complete fools to make this bread.
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Mix the butter, sugar, smooshied bananas [straight from the freezer, for some reason it is better than letting them thaw] with your dirtyfilthy hands. [Um, kidding. Please wash your hands.]
3. Add in your flour, baking soda, and salt. More hand-dirtying mix-mooshing.
4. Er. Add in the rest of your crap, and put it in a mixer. Please don't try using a whisk, the mixture may break it.
5. Take whatever sized bread tins you'd like, as long as they're actual bread tins. Bake for about an hour.
6. Without burning yourself, take out the bread. If it tastes good, hooray! My brain is not completely stupid! The chocolate should be still solid in the bread, but ooey-gooey in your mouth. If it turned out like wubbish, don't sue me because I warned you it may not work. Like I said, you are a complete fool to make the bread. But if it turns out well, you are a lucky fool.

I would commit murder for a chicken burrito from Chipotle Mexican Grill. Best one-pound burritos in America. Of course, the nearest Chipotle Mexican Grill in relation to my position is three hours to Phoenix or three hours to San Diego.
God does Yuma, Arizona need a Chipotle.

So I've nicked some red wine.
But I have nothing to enjoy it with.
Must resist Gio's wine and cheese thread. Must...
P.S- Come to think of it, this isn't really the appropriate forum for this thread. Would one of the mods mind moving it to Shaved Ice for me? *PUPPYFACE*
