You'd think that that would have taken a long time to write, but it didn't.

I always thought Nichole Kidman would make for a good adult Juri.

As a live action film or series though I think the story would be best served by a cast of young unknowns, or semi-unknowns, with more established actors stepping in as Akio, and Mikage to give the series some clout. You know, Michelle Pfifer doing a guest spot as Mrs. Ohtori that would be damn hot.

As far as grown up Juri goes, Kim Dickens is my choice for the part, but that's probably because she played the curly haired, jaded lesbian in Deadwood.

If Keira Knightley were Utena, I would end my life. There is my ultimate promise to the world. If Knightley is ever Utena Tenjou...I resolve myself to death.

She's just got such a versatile look. IMO, she'd make a killer Chigusa. I also think she could pull off Utena quite well.
