This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

IN COMMEMORATION OF THE GETTING OF THIS STUFF, HERE IS A LITTLE HYACINTH/WAKABA LETTER OF ADMIRATION FOR MOROSEMOCHA!
... oh, morosemocha...
What would we do without you on the Rose Garden forums?
You... you spoil us, you know that?
First, you send us christmas mail... and then you buy us expensive Utena stuff...
I sound like a fool, confessing all of this to you...
But, morosemocha, the truth is...
WE YOU!!
This has been a Hyacinth production...

You're so cute Hyacinth.

Hyacinth, that was beautiful.
I can't wait till all that stuff is shipped and scanned...
Empty Movement is the best and most complete image gallery I've ever seen for ANYTHING on the internet. And something being added that's so nifty is certainly a sight to see.

Hya, you're adorable. Absolutly.
Thanks again to everyone. What with the holidays, and two jobs in the most holiday centric industries, the last couple days have been a mess, and it doesn't help that my home compy basically imploded. I lost a bunch of stuff (thankfully the most important things were backed up, but it's still annoying ), but it works, and it should be back to limping in a couple days. So I've been doing internetties from work -hence my lack of presence on IFD.
Also, the last couple people that sent me thier addies? I'm so sorry, but the postage was incorrect I just got them back today, so they won't even be picked up till...like...tuesday. But I did repost them and everything, so you'll get them, they just...won't be christmas cards. Oh well, they say "Happy Holidays" anyway.
Gah, I feel like a loser. Oh well.
Offline
Sweetie you're not a loser. And if I have to wait for my card, so be it. I'll still be happy to get it.
Offline
We don't mind at all, dear. *hugs* Don't feel like a loser, you're just plain not and I refuse to hear any more of this nonsense. Have some christmas booze and relax a while.
On a side note, I'll be sending my contribution to the fund here as soon as I can get my act together. Like I said, not much, but something.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT
I got it today, AND it's NOT a book!
It's 195 loose sheets of paper that look like they were an artist's guidebook from the movie! There's instructional stuff in here on how to draw lips, and what looks like some kind of three page thing about drawing shadows and perspective or something.
HOLY SHIT!
Now, I gotta run as I am throughly late for work. Eek!
P.S.: And a couple random pages from BRS. Ooookay? Hey, Razara, there's some pretty bitching Shiori sketches in here too!

OMG, that was fast!
I can't wait to see them!!
And also, who would work on a Christmas day?

On chiristmas eve? everybody. My day job is at the mall, so that's where I was. Nights I work at Disney, and the resorts ALWAYS have people in. Like me.

My mom.
Also FUCKING AWESOME SWEET. Loose pages will be much easier to scan. I gotta figure out how to place these in the gallery, they'll probably be half under character designs and then something like artisic guidelines for the things like lips. That's really god damn awesome, though, especially for the fanartists around here.
morosemocha, you're working tonight because you're like Santa for the rest of us, getting us yummy yummy SKU goodies.
Except you're totally a ton hotter than Santa, who would suck at the naughty librarian thing.

Awww, thanks! There's a couple title pages...I can try and scan those on my cranky scanner soon (if I can find the software, 'cause right now it's useless, what with the minor implosion), and maybe someone up here can translate 'em? I know I saw a couple people mention that could read a bit of .jp
Also, I think about 50 pages or so are going to be pretty useless, as they're b&w copies of color keys, and the sketches are already on other pages. There's another handful of pages, maybe thirty or so, that look like they were used to deomnstrate how to properly frame cels, but my .jp is so rusty as to be nonexistent -can't say for sure.
However, this is going to be a MAJOR boon not only to fanartists, but to cosplayers who want clear looks at the costumes. There are some damned good shots in here, including Movie-Akio with with a double-breasted blazer. Okay, bad example, but it's about as crazy as SKU gets... There's also some amazing shots of the castle that will make great wallpaper bases, and about another twenty pages of UtenaMobile schematics.
I'm still going through it, putting the pages in some blank portfolios I hadn't filled up yet. I'll swing by the art store in a couple days, when it dies down a bit, and get some more...

I didn't really mean to. Although if you were wondering where the armbands went, they used 'em on the blazer, which is a very strange one as it's very obvious that it has shirt sleeve cuffs, but...it's a blazer... It's rather...strangely eighties somehow...
This thing...is in crazy order. Do you want me to leave it in the original order when I ship it to you, or would you be okay with me reordering it in a more sensical manner? Like color keys with color keys, schematics, bkground shots, all that stuff...

EW. I hate the eighties.
Ahem. Any order is fine, as I'll end up sorting it myself to fit the setup I'm using in the gallery. By the way you should probably send it to my job so they don't do anything retarded like put the package in my grill.
What the hell.

HOW CAN YOU??
The eighties brought us so many good good things!!
Like Touga's theme song (Prince's Gett off)
QUEEN!!! (I Freddy Mercury!)
THE BREAKFAST CLUB!!!!! (that movie is life!)
Tainted Love (that song is sex...)
And other stuff...

So thats how they keep that place all magical...

Hya, you're cute, and adorable and I wubble you lots, but if you even think about breaking out that disney is magical crap, I will pimp smack you like a little 'ho.
I am so freaking over Disney.
Gio, i know my inbox is full now, but I'll try and delete some stuff when I get to work tonight, so you can send me your work addy, or you can send it to my email. IRG kills the home computer, and I'm crap at deleting stuff anyway. Also, you hate the eighties? So many good things came out of the eighties -like you, me, Shattered, Yasha, Simon LeBonBon... Guess I shouldn't tell you I spend Tuesday nights at the local art lounge dirty dancing to eighties music till two am. You'd probably hate me then too.
Right. Off to go inbibe like...a billion painkillers...
