Ignorance It's amazing how much easier it is for a team to work together when no one has any idea where they're going. (That pretty much sums up the Student Council.)
Mistakes It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others. (I feel that Saionji fits this one pretty well.)

Actually, that one already was picked for Mikage. Fit better for him than Saionji, though. I don't recall anyone learning a lesson from Saionji's mistakes. Not even Saionji himself.
EDIT: Wait, no, I'm talking out of my ass. No one even remembered Mikage.

It seems to work oppositely in Utena, no one remembers the people that leave. But possibly, if Juri really does remember him. And if Mikage (and Utena) didn't die.
