The little things in daily life that make you think about Shoujo Kakumei Utena.

My teacher was talking about things he did way back and how it wasn't in his character do to that. One thing was that he stopped a fight between two boys and he said he was a coward. Then he said and I quote

All roses make me think of Utena. This is obvious. Also, whenever anybody talks about miracles. I usually respond with, "Believe in miracles, and they will know your feelings." And everyone's like "WTF." It's pretty amazing.

I was shopping at the mall a few days ago and saw a mannequin that looked exactly like C-ko. It was black, skinny, and had a curly ponytail. No kidding.

Whenever there's a sun-shower I think of Utena. Or whenever someone asks me to donate blood.

I also went through something I dubbed my "Anthy-period" some years ago. It was a time when I felt alone in a coffin. Hoping I would be lucky enough to have a friend true enough to rescue me and show me acceptance. I made many wangsty journal entries about Utena and say parallels in all places.

One of the many things I do at my part-time job as an office grunt is to purchase stuff online for co-workers.
We use catalog numbers, and on the site that I frequent to buy stuffs, the catalog number is labeled as "SKU#"

Makes me smile... emot-smile

Oh yes, and curry, every time I have curry, I think of Anthy, and then I decide to add more spices to make my curry even spicier.

Oh, lots of things. The weirdest thing is the local library in the city where I went to high school. I did some community service there fixing books, and I always listened to the first two soundtracks while I was working, so whenever I see it, I think of Utena.
