This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
Hi, I've come across this blog thanks to a thread regarding Enokido and Touga's sexual abuse....
Well, that article seemed to be expired, but I checked out of curiosity a little bit of the site....and I found this. I agree with most of the analysis, I think is very clever and makes sense, at least for me, especially the significance of the apple..but maybe is better that I talk of this after you read it, and if you wants, leave your opinions about.
Good reading!

Check out the Aegypt Cycle, and possibly supplement with these two articles.
Basically, the central theme of Crowley's books is a longing for the "destruction of the world"—a mythical rebirth that constantly recurs, causing the entire world to change at once. The main character's transformation comes in realizing that this destruction and recreation is really recurring within each human mind, over and over again: not a massive cosmic event, but something subtle, personal, and yet powerful.
And keep your mind out of the gutter in future, pervert.
