This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
I just discovered this image at the "MoonKingdom" SailorMoon forum...a screencap of Usagi's textbook-with a funny reference to Mr. Ikuhara-"One day, Mr.Ikuhara went to roppongi to do nanpa. He was tired after big work. So he applied for comfort to any tender girl."
LOL, just thought this to be amusing. Now, I don't know what "nanpa", is, but "applying to the comfort of any tender girl", well, given his supposed reputation as a Ladies' Man, I think the animators were poking fun at him. Anyways, just thought I'd share it with you all. Tell me what you think?

Haha, "nanpa" means picking up girls. An amusing little easter egg, I wonder if it was Ikuhara or one of the animation staff who put that in there.

pfft!
Awesome!
I think Roppongi is a very fashionable area. And nanpa is indeed picking up girls for the purpose of going to hotels with them.
Someone on another forum I frequent made a comment about a guy talking about it. For the sake of simplicy, I'll just quote some of it:
Make us a template of how you do things.
At 8PM I get off work.
I go to Ikebukuro and start looking around.
I start hitting on girls. Usually near the east exit on the approach to Sunshine City.
If I succeed: Go for a drink (to an izakaya if we are in a group, otherwise to a bar) – go to a love hotel or home
If it was just contact details – meet up in the next few days
If I fail, I try to work out the reason why and go home.
