But have you heard the song used for the Kannazuki no Miko OP?  Personally, it's one of the best OPs I have ever heard, especially the full version of the song.  If you like techno music at all (psychedelic trance/goa especially), it's amazing.

I've heard it. I'm don't like that song though, my taste in music is very weird because there are other techno songs I like but this one I didn't. o_O

Theres some pictures of a comparison- its pretty similar!

Theres some pictures of a comparison- its pretty similar!

Pokemon is a parody hotbed. My favorite episode may contain other Utena parodies, though it's just as easy to say that it's parody of typical shoujo themes:

I've been looking all over for a good screenshot of Team Rocket descending stairs of light in their Rose of Versailles costumes, to no avail. Moving on, looking closely you can see Kasumi/Misty being held hostage in the center of the rose in the background here, which makes me think of Anthy in ep. 9.

i never recognized so many similarities between SKU and KnM o.o
except that the name "himemiya" is used there as well...

and i like the pokemon pictures posted above XD

in the anime strawberry panic there's also a girl named ohtori amane and she's the "prince"-character there O.o that confused me a little.

It's very early on - season 1 episode 28 I think. In English it's called Pokemon Fashion Flash(?).
