This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

I have no idea what you guys are talking about.
All I know is that we should make our own deck of SKU playing cards like that. Because it'd be fun.
Already done.
Twenty Black Rose Saga cards. This was an installment of the dueling game I designed for my anime club (details here: http://forums.ohtori.nu/viewtopic.php?id=21). It's designed to require almost no knowledge of rules; everything is intuitive. Both players start with a hand of three cards and draw one from a common pool of cards at the beginning of each turn. A player can play a card onto themselves or onto their opponent. All instructions apply to the player onto whom the card is played. The game ends when all cards are played, and the player with the most points wins. The game played very well at the duel, particularly for a game with no playtesting. Inspired by 1000 Blank White Cards, only they weren't blank.
Especially fun if you've never played and don't know what cards are in the deck

BWAHAHAHAHA.
You know it took me a minute to guess that "Hai, Oniisama" was 'ew' because of the incest and not because you used movie Akio.
Or was my impulse right?

No, you were right the second time Astonishingly, there is no shot from the Black Rose Saga that makes it really obvious what Akio and Anthy are doing with no context whatsoever. None in your extensive database that I drew most of these pictures from, anyway

I love this. So the rules are super-basic and the cards are just awesome? Sweet.

LOL. That's fantastic.
Mooing at the beginning of every turn sounds just like my kind of game.

those were the greatest things I've EVER seen.
"Volunary Mutism" is a card for life man.
Aw, thank you.
The crowd favorite at the anime club was Arson. Everyone was sort of relieved when it never got played because of Umbrella, because no one wanted to set fire to a card.
