This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
One thing that I was kind of intrigued from the dub cast is not the acting but where they are now. Most of them went off to do other stuff, while some are still acting today, and it is fascinating to see where they are today. So without further interruption:
Utena-Rachel Lills- Still voice acting today, not so much in anime but I think in other stuff, like commercials.
Touga-Crispin Freeman - Dont need to add more since he became pretty popular in the industry as a vc.
Miki- Not sure, Still voice acts from time to time, but his profile on metacritic suggest he is becoming a musician.

Saionji-Jack Tylor- CANT FIND HIM AT ALL! If you have some info please drop it here. But I did figure out that he has been in acting since the 70's? Pretty sure that bullshit, but DVD.com suggests otherwise https://dvd.netflix.com/RoleDisplay/Jack-Taylor/91425
Juri-Amanda Goodman- An actress and animal rights activist (on twitter...). Has her own website so check it out! http://www.amandagoodman.net/Site/Home.html
Nanami- Leah Applebeaum- An interesting thing happened to her as she ended up becoming a producer of all things, and is working in the indie film industry.
Anthy-Sharon Becker- She makes people pretty with makeup, has her own company and even worked in makeup for some films. Website http://sb-beauty.com/about-sharon/
Akio- Cant find about him either, but he did narrate a Rapunzel storybook in 2011, and that is it.
Mikage- Jay Snyder- An instructor at http://www.edgestudio.com/voice-over-in … -directory and voice acts today but less then before.
Wakaba-Roxanne Beck- A writer, singer and songwriter that seems to be struggling but hope she will get her breakthrough http://www.roxannebeck.com/bio.htm
Shiori- Lisa Ortiz- Still voice acts, was even in street fighter 5.
Ruka- Wayne Grayson- Voice acts today, but less then before.
As for the rest I dont care enough to talk about them, but if you see anything interesting about them, write it here! Also if you found any mistakes in what I wrote then also write them here!

Hey, so it turns out James Carter Cathcart (dub Miki) will be going to a local con, so if I meet him, I'll let you know about it!

Wait, which con is he going to? Just asking out of curiosity's (Its not like I wanna go or anything, Baka!).
PS Ask him about Utena and everything that went back stage in the dub making so I can get more info and post it here.

SunnyCon in Newcastle, England. I'm not familiar with the dub or even the movie, so if you want me to ask him some questions (provided I have the chance), let me know! That goes for anyone here, but bear in mind I'll probably only get to speak with him for a couple of minutes, so I obviously won't be able to conduct an interview or anything like that.

So I just met Cathcart, and he does remember Utena! He said the dub process was rather weird, in that everyone recorded their lines separately, and at the end of it all, the cast got together to record an interview, and he didn't think it was right for him to be in the interview because he didn't really understand what Utena was about even after recording it.
And FYI, he prefers the show over the movie.

hahaha. It's standard practice in English dubbing to have cast members separated out, unlike in Japan where the whole cast is there and it's like really acting out a scene.
That's crazy that he was apart of the program and yet had no idea what was going on. That explains some of the lines that fell flat (imo).

Thats kind of what I wanted to responded but I would like too add that if you do an interview on a show, with the cast members, shouldnt you at least know the people youre interviewing with a little? That is super odd to me that people who never met would speak on something that would be recorded.
