Wow. It's been so long since this thread was active that I've completely forgotten what the existing corpse segments look like. So I'm going to commit a faux pas and make the next segment myself. Warning: it will be MS Paint, but I'll follow my own rules in trying to create something nice-looking.
After that, I think there'll be enough panels that we can post the result even if no one is interested in continuing my panel.

After I finished, I peeked at the panel right above mine, and it outshines mine by several orders of magnitude 
But I'll take it like a man. Anyone want to continue, using this piece as your top? Remember, our theme is suits of cards: hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. If not, in a couple days we'll have to post the four panels we've got.

Well, it looks like we'll have to content ourselves with the four pieces we've got. The result!!!:
The top three panels -- SDF's, Hy's, and Asfy's, respectively -- are works of art. The fourth is... um... okay. 
Still, it's so pretty! The transitions in particular are astonishing. Thank you all for playing

Even if it's only four pieces, it looks amazing. I love it! And be quiet, satyr. I love your piece too. I think mine looks the worst, even if the design of a spade stabbing a bleeding heart amused me. But, really, all of it looks amazing together. Congrats, everyone!

It's so nice!!! All the pieces [also yours, satyreyes! ] are amazing
I like the transitions, the overall dominance of black and red, and the use of spots in the first and third pieces, which shared no connection otherwise
