Maybe the lighting/coloring between the two parts should be a little more... balanced? it could work fine if the light in the right section and the light in the square on the left where more similar. Adding purple to the square, for example.

Thank you for the feedback. I didn't notice that, but you're right, it does look a little imbalanced that way. I originally darkened the left picture, but then when I went to desaturate it and deleted that layer, I forgot to darken it again. Also, I'm not so sure about the coloured screen layers on the pictures, so I might dabble with some other colours..

Butterflies are so Miki and Kozue. (Sunlit garden!)

Edit: Also, the right picture was panned by Gio. I so wanted to use it. And I snabbed the left picture from a screencap Razara took when she was doing analysis in the symbolism thread.. I hope that's okay.

Thanks for the suggestions. I used them and edited the paper, and I really like it a lot better now.

I'm also working on a second one.. I will stop after this one, though. I don't want to submit too many, as addictive wallpapers are.



I think it came out a little strange with the pattern over the characters, but I actually like it.. but maybe erasing on some parts is in order? In some areas, like on Shiori's skirt and Saionji's hair, I want it to be a little stronger, but in other areas, I want it to be fainter.. hmm, it didn't occur to me to erase on some parts until now.

I was also really, really tempted to put something like "IFD", but I don't have room for text anyway.

Edit: .. and I also just realize that the file size is WAY, way too big. Massive editing is in order. I apologize.

Editedit: This picture is also proof that movie!Saionji is a total biznatch because he misses Touga.

Yeah. I definitely going to try to erase the pattern on their skin, but make it stronger on their hair and clothing. It just didn't occur to me to do that until after I uploaded it.

Also, that's a very good idea. I didn't like how centered it was because I didn't have any room to do anything else, but I didn't think of doing that.. ('cause I'm dumb) thanks for the suggestion.

I'm working on an Utena wallpaper (my pink-haired baby doesn't get enough love!) but the contrast and gamma is all kinds of screwed up on my PC. Here's what I have of her base colors, and I wanna know if everything looks right before adding in the shading...>.>;;;






Anything I need to change? Her skin looks very tan on my PC, and her jacket looks completely black, so I dunno if it's too light or dark...

I agree with Amiki-chan. Everything looks fine, and I love the eyes. For the hair, try Red 255, Green 128, and Blue 192.

And Persephone, I like yours too! The little pink swirls look like her hair.

'kay, I took Raven and Amiki's advice and brightened up Utena's hair w/ those codes. :B I think it looks better.


I did pretty much 2 slightly different versions of one wallpaper. I was going to add some deep quote in a cool script font, but I suck at that. ^.^;; I hope y'all like.
