Cromwell yesterday was like another planet -- it's usually dry heat there, but yesterday it blew a gale, was about thirty degrees Celcius, and everything was tinted yellow by the haze and smoke from the fires in Victoria.
...seriously. The sun went red and the (full) moon went yellow. It was like being on Mars.

It's raining.
We're expecting another storm too, so yeah...not excited. I like the rain, I just don't like it raining when I'm not in my room snuggled up with a book listening to portishead.

That happened in the 2002(?) wildfire season of Southern California. I was in San Diego at the time, and the exact same thing happened with the sun.
We took pics.

You know it's been cold for too long when 40 degrees seems warm, but it's better than -8 degrees. Much, much better. u_u

The weather here?
It's British.
No fair! I want British weather!
It's kinda cold here. Then again, it's winter, so that should be normal.
We did have some snow, though, for like, a few days before it all melted.
Trust me, no you don't ;)
It's not too bad like, but half the time it's just...grey. Then I again, I do live Up North so I suppose that's to be expected.
But one bloody snowflake and suddenly schools are off, lecturers don't turn up and I get called into work because one person or another can't make it in because of the bloody tossing bastard snow. Just argh.

It soooo windy. Wargh. Leftovers from those tornadoes in Oklahoma, I guess.

I just remember Sheffield as being grey. Constant. Bloody. GREY. And then there was a flood and I got sent home from work early. Ha! Rotherham was underwater. But honestly -- would YOU miss it?

It's pleasantly warm with light wind and next to no humidity right now in general (at day) and chilly with wind at night. It should stay this way for the next few days.
I will report when the forecast predicts hot and dry with a 95% chance of no snowbirds for the next six months.
