Some comments on the test and on typology in general:

I agree with the bad coding aspect, satyreyes.  I was also confused by my results...dangerous?  Anti-authority?  What? 

However, with avoidant, I sort of thought it was meant to be seen as being avoidant of relationships and being close to individuals and expressing themselves around people, at least expressing their true selves versus putting up personas to avoid rejection or whatever whereas I've seen how similarminds interprets cautiousness in how they interpret it in the Enneagram Type 6 sort of way, if you are anyone is familiar: as making usual deliberations in avoiding accidents, set-backs, and potential risks which are not necessarily intertwined with the social and relational aspects as I think avoidant would be more on par with. 

So I would see avoidant behavior as withdrawing from others due to not wanting to be misunderstood or else understood and rejected because of that or else, and has some manner of fear or distrust of social gatherings or individuals and hence closes off due to that.  Like the person who finds relationships as tedious and resulting in more pain than reward or the person who acts in a compliant manner in order not to make enemies so that people will ultimately leave them to their peace and not cause problems.

Cautiousness could, in my overall interpretation through studying some of this, could be more related to making extra efforts to keep themselves and others from being at risk, being very safety minded, being very careful not to accidently miss deadlines and having the tendency to make the extra effort to make sure they have followed all possible criteria for an assignment, persay, to be very literal about it.  But I rarely equate it to the sort of cautiousness of someone who is avoidant on a social and intimate level.

Just to put how it could be, not that I know, but dealing with any sort of personality typology tends to result in this uncertainty as to how one should define certain dichotomies, and the Advanced Big Five is of no difference though I take it less seriously than I do the traditional SLOAN, Big Five, which is more accepted by the community of serious personality researchers, though I think it severely lacking in comparison to other systems out there which tend to be ahead of the times but currently too complicated to incur any scientific study (though I hope to see that change in the next few decades.).

(also, I agree with Naji.  These things rely on how you see yourself.  Highly subjective, though I see my results, personally, as being on the mark, mostly.  But though I put these links up, it doesn't mean I put much value on test taking for identifying personality profiles.  It requires a lot more knowledge, introspection, self-awareness, awareness of how others perceive you, and so on, and basically requires more thought than relying on mere tests.  If you study MBTI (God-forbid, IMO), Enneagram, or Socionics, this makes more sense.)
