This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
This is a translation of a 2 year old blog post from Ikuniweb that I liked. http://www2.jrt.co.jp/cgi-bin3/ikuniweb … .cgi?no=57

The World Exists for Me
Tomo-zou & Minasama:
I got a photo from a friend who lives in America. Here.
"The World of S and M" America version.
Now on sale to rave reviews! My friend saw it in a bookstore and took a picture for me.
Oooh, the cover format has a good look to it.
Anyway.
The English title is The World Exisits(sic) for me. (Sekai wa Watashi no Tame ni Aru.)
Awesome! It's different from Japan's, but it's cool in its own way.
Actually... When it was time to release the English version the publisher over there (America) asked:
Them: "Can we do something about the title?"
Me: "Is there a problem with it?"
Them: "Yes. Wth the same title as the Japanese version, it'll get filed into the adult genre."
...Well, that would be true, normally.

i have never heard of that manga. but i did need a new series to read. so in japan its classified under adult genra? or is everything classified adult over there. not trying to sound like a female dog or an ass. but is it true that japan is very perverted?

I think that S and M were two characterish plot things or something. And the main characters are Sekai and Machiavelli or something I think too. (My sister read it to me years ago, do not trust my memory.)
I don't know what happened though, since we never got part 2. (I don't like Saito's style, though I don't know why she never got the other. She bought it since it was by Saito.)
