Introduce myself? Well, when I was a kid, I wished to be so famous that people on the Internet would refer to me by a 3-letter acronym. But it was impossible, my initials being one too few. I'd forgotten about all that by the time I chose this handle, and now I've been using it for a decade, but just a few days ago I suddenly realized I'd got my wish after all.

(fake edit: I should clarify that Xom is not an acronym.)

I recently rewatched RGU and let's just say I wasn't old enough to actually appreciate it for what it is the first time I watched it, hah.
My favorites are probably Miki, Kozue, Juri and Anthy.

I'm a medical student, I live in North Africa & I'm into a bunch of things like psychology, history, cinema and Neon Genesis Evangelion. ^v^

Fencing us really cool! I don't have the fine motor skills that would be required to do it, but I've often tohught I'd like to see a real match, sometime.

Recently rewatched Utena for the umptheen time and figured I may as well bite the bullet, join, and be able to view this site in all it's glory. Favs characters include car Shiori, Miki's Stopwatch, Saionji (with or without exchange diary), best wacky hi-jinks maker Anthy, and of course the titular Utena. Have a lovely day, all.

hi! i just *finally* watched utena (and read the manga) despite finding out about it around 1999, when i was a teenager. this stuff was not so easy to get then, anime was so cost-prohibitive and fansubs weren’t really available to me either. i was absolutely captivated by the art and story, and read a lot about it way back when... saved all kinds of the art to my computer, had a realplayer version of the opening sequence that probably took me 800 years to download on our 1999 dial-up 😂 i watched that clip almost daily for a year, probably! it’s always been in the back of my mind as something i wanted to get around to seeing. i’m thoroughly obsessed at this point... it’s rare that i fall so completely into a show. i had remembered some of the general things about the series and some spoilers like akio/anthy, but didn’t remember much about the ending (i mean, i did read spoilers 18-19 years ago, haha) so there were lots of surprises in store despite having some pretty old context for it. it’s nice to meet y’all!

hey i'm sara & i decided to join this forum bc i wanted to get more involved with the rgu fandom (it seems a little dead right now, it's almost as if i arrived over 2 decades late or something). i think i can safely say that utena is my favourite show right now & my fav characters are juri, anthy and utena. plus, i'm incredibly new to this show (i finished it last month) & compared to some of the long-time fans i'm pretty young. i'm still sort of exploring the Lore™ and all that deep stuff. well i'll see some of you lot around

Hi all! I've been a fan of Utena since I found the first DVD set back at Suncoast somewhere around the year 2000 (give or take a year, whenever it came out!)
My friends and I frequented ohtori.nu and all of it's content for many, many years.
I'm surprised I haven't joined until now. Been relistening to all of my soundtracks and rewatched the movie and I really wanted to talk to other fans about their thoughts and everything!

I'm a 30-something chick from Michigan; Love Mahou Shoujo, Cosplay and all things pink.

Some of my favorite characters are Touga, Saionji and Nanami.
