Do you think they're trashy? Can they be done with class? Do people with tattoos act like they are in some special club? Do you take pride in your virgin skin? What would your dream tattoo be?
Just curious! 
I'm a tattoo apprentice under an artist who worked under Horiyoshi III for 7 years. He's finishing my first tattoo, a full arm-piece, on Tuesday. Just curious what you guys think about the whole thing as both a subculture and an art form^_^
Also: I'm thinking of getting the rose signet on my body somewhere. How dorky am I? X3 Just can't decide where yet...

Yes, I like tattoos. Yes, I have a tattoo. Yes, I am happy with it; comes in handy for making better pinkie swears.
But we have a tattoo thread up in IFD. Perhaps you could necro the thread and gather more information there. Just keeping you informed. 
EDIT: And no, it's not dorky to get the Rose Signet on you. I saw somebody at BME who had one done, complete with a reference image.
