This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
Although Sey ripped all of the video from the SKU game there was no audio however I managed to find a tool (thanks Google) that can rip the audio thus I now present all of the video's with the audio from the first cd of the game.
I used the following tools on the .CAK files extracted from the cd image Cinepack.exe
to extract the audio and acpk2avi to extract the video then I combined the audio and video with VirtualDub.
Zip containing all of the videos

Links to the software
Cinepack.exe Note the tool is in Japanese if you want instructions ask and I'll list the functions of each button etc.

and
acpk2avi for the video

Sorry about the .lzh files but those are the original files, open them in 7zip.
If people want the second cd I'll work on it as well.
Also if people desire the audio samples from the game Cinepack.exe might work but I haven't tried it.

Awesome... I remember finding the video files a long time ago and being disappointed that there was no sound. I'll have to take a look at these later. Thanks!

Awesome! I'll try and download this tonight in my off-peak net time. If this works for me I'm so using these cut-scenes to augment my SKU amvs. Yay, thank you.

The person I'm sitting with is making me reply to you Sir Poland.
So I'm here to tell you "No, no you don't."
Yeah, we had a bad experience with that once... Oh sweet Jesus the looping... (Also, I'm willing to bet you've heard it before.) I was almost jumped playing that game cause of the looping bgm...
This seems like a good thing, since I REALLY don't want to replay this game ever again, but kinda want to see what else is in there.
However, my computer might come to life and murder me in my sleep if I download any other programs to it... (I REALLY need to reformat...) So I'll wait for now.

Good news, the tool works on at least some of the audio samples and I will start working on the second CDs video sometime this week.
Also a quick comment about playing the AVIs they should play back in windows media player since cinepack comes preinstalled with windows and the audio is uncompressed wav or you could just use VLC.

I'm trying in WMP and VLC but have a lot of closing down glitches, especially in the scene with Touga/Saionji/Akio singing. I can't get that one to play at all past the first appearance of the guys. Any ideas?

Do you mean OPENING.AVI? Maybe try downloading again seems to work fine on my end, the file isn't corrupt and it plays fine. I play-tested them all before uploading but you never know. What do you mean by "closing down glitches"?
In any case I uploaded OPENING.AVI again

You could try media player classic but if it doesn't play in WMP I doubt that's going to work. I would say that your computer is too slow but cinepak was designed for very slow computers Pentium II I think.

Here's the second CD *passes out*

Since both Rapidshare and Megaupload have been shut down, is there anyone who has a copy of these two zips who would be willing to upload it to some other site? I was super excited to see this and then, uh, Rapidshare shut down.

I believe Mediafire still works as an upload site.
And thank you very much! Do these videos have audio with them as well?

I was able to download both of them and the videos seem to play just fine. Thank you very much for these!
Mediafire sure has changed since I last used it... which wasn't that long ago. I don't recall the CAPTCHAs being so weird and I don't recall so many pop-ups that don't let you close the window. I feel like I accidentally wandered back into the 90s. To anybody else trying to use Mediafire - I was unable to pass the CAPTCHAs in Chrome because every time I got one right, it asked me to copy/paste a code into a field, after which it simply redirected me to the same page to a different CAPTCHA. It would also open some weird pop-ups. In Internet Explorer, the CAPTCHA was not strange letters but simply a checkmark that said "I am not a robot;" despite this, I still got pop-ups, some of which were not easy to close. Keep your pop-up blocker on.
