Ragnarok Online: MMO Lovin'

Hey guys!

So a couple of weeks ago my old Ragnarok Online server re-opened. I wanted to see if there was anyone on IRG that wanted to virtually frolic with me. The people are really nice and it's not overly populated. We can party level! It's an MMO, but it's a really easy to catch on. Also, it is completely free to download and play, so if you're looking for something like that, it's right up your alley.

So if you've got time to kill or want to try something new, you can download it here. Afterwards, register here. Then just PM me and I will meet you online for a tour, hahaha.

Happy playing!

That game...is evil....

Haha just kidding. I remember playing it way back when it first came out. I don't think I could ever play it again since I'm already playing so many different MMOs. DFO, Le Tale, Aion...

I'll ask my friend though and see if he wants to add RO to the lot.

Ahahaha, so many people I know love Aion. I totally understand though, I just wanted to throw this up there in case anyone wanted to.

Re: Ragnarok Online: MMO Lovin'

That's because Aion's graphic is amazingly pretty. The character customization is similiar to The Sims which you don't really get in a lot of MMOs. If you ever decide to take the Aion path...let me know. ;]

I used to RO. I would, but I know that it will MURDER MY SOUL. (I had this phase where it was like, MMO-ing was more necessary than sleep. it took my computer dying to pull me back.) I've been through like 170 levels, so I think I'm good.

170 levels? I don't think I made it to ten! emot-frown

I liked two things about RO, the name and the graphics. Actually playing the game wasn't quite as good for me.

Re: Ragnarok Online: MMO Lovin'

Of course you would. XD

The game is really cute looking. I was there cause the people I'd talk to online were too. You can go for the porn! God knows there's alot of RO porn.

Man, I can't imagine being low leveled cause my ass was still getting handed to me. D:

Re: Ragnarok Online: MMO Lovin'

I've always wanted to play RO, mainly because the sprites are pretty, but... I play a metric ton of online games that I'm already trying to juggle.

So, my question is if it's actually worth trying to play or not? I already play games like Guild Wars, a couple of the Nexon games, and SL, which take up a fair bit of time (which I have since I'm all jobless emot-gonk). But I love new games. emot-mad So, yes.

Re: Ragnarok Online: MMO Lovin'

Uhhmmmm... sadly I couldn't get it to work. So be warned, this is not the main RO, it's a kind of frankenstein beastie someone cooked up. Which would be totally awesome with me if it worked, because it means you have a smallish server, and no one crawling all over your ass for money. But it didn't work. emot-frown

Which Nexon Games? And do you do a lot of guild pvp in GW? :]

Re: Ragnarok Online: MMO Lovin'

I'm playing Mabinogi a lot recently, and I do have an old Maple Story character I need to get back into.

I haven't touched any sort of PVP, mainly because I personally suck at it, and I'm in a small guild.

Re: Ragnarok Online: MMO Lovin'

I play from time to time. I used to guild PvP but other MMOs stole me from GW and then my guild sorta fell since I wasn't there to run it. =Þ

If you ever want to run anything I'll give you my character name.

For Nexon, they came out with Dungeon Fighter Online. It's pretty fun if you want to try it. It's also a side scrolling game.
