Quick correction! Apparently I can't do math and/or I'm really sleepy, because it turns out I'm turning 24, not 25. It's kind of funny. When I was seven I knew my age by heart; it was one of the things that defined me, and it felt weird on my birthday to realize that now I was eight. That went on till I was eighteen or so. Since then, it's gotten harder and harder to remember how old I am.

You know, there was a time when I would have thought this odd, but now not so much. For example less than a week ago I stood at my register at work and spent a few minutes trying to figure out whether I was turning 22 or 23 this year >.>

I always catch myself adding a year to my age, so when I was asked my age on Monday, I stared at the woman for a bit trying to make sure whatever was coming out of my month was right. The problem is, I was born in 1980, so I just look at the ending number of the current year to know what my age will be. Unfortunately, my mind switches that to what age I am. So for about 3 weeks out of the year (before the year changes over), I actually say the right age automatically. After that, I add a year or have to think about it. 
So happy birthday to Alexandra, Rae, and Satyr (some more belated than others, I'm guessing)
