There's still some stuff that hasn't caught up-the water looks atrocious-but at this point, the differences are purposeful, not "we haven't yet implemented a bunch of stuff."

I've been playing Pocket Edition/Bedrock Engine Minecraft for a year now, it's not all that different unless you are looking at mods. There's not a lot of mods for MCBE, sadly.

However, the performance is really excellent and they've *really* fixed the crummy UI it used to have. There's a lot more options. It even has a proper beta inclusion now! Enable Experimental Gameplay is a thing as of the last update.

However, I would wait on it until they've implemented at least the first half of the Update Aquatic because holy shit.
