1. The Shaved Ice Lounge is for random zaniness and all things that lack significance!  If it involves significant discussion, significant creativity, or significant personal sharing, you probably won't find it here.  Instead, expect a dessert buffet of games, toys, flirting, and occasionally Pop-Tarts.  That doesn't mean real discussion is off-limits, but that's not what the Lounge is for!

2. Decency. Same rules here as on the rest of the forum (and civilization in general).  Don't abuse other forum members.  Don't complain about a cuss word here and there, but don't cuss every other word either.  Listen to what other people are telling you.  No racism, ever.  And of course, if you're not sure, ask.

3. Introductions don't go here. They go here instead.  Please let us know who you are!

4. If you find yourself derailing a thread, make a new thread. The person who made that thread has something they want to talk about.  If you post in their thread, stay on their subject.

5. Mod/Admin Respect. To have a forum, we have to have rules, and having rules means we need people to enforce them. This means people are putting in free time to make sure these forums are a great place to be.  We try our very best to be fair, to fix our own mistakes, and to constrain you as little as possible, but in the end, what we say goes.

6. Supervision.  Due to the sheer quantity of traffic in this subforum, it's a low-supervision zone; the mods aren't going to read every post.  If someone is doing something seriously wrong, such as abusing a member or taking a thread way off course, it is your responsibility to bring it to the attention of one of the mods.

7. No X-rated material! That belongs in IFD, our members-only forum. Text is never X-rated for our purposes, so you can post whatever words you like here; it's pictures we worry about.

8. Tech stuff.  As on the rest of the forum, avatars should be 100x100 and no more than 10KB; signatures should be 500x75 or smaller; don't post images wider than 600 pixels to avoid breaking tables; and don't link images directly from the site they come from, unless that site belongs to you or to Gio.  To link to another image, use your own image provider, such as Photobucket or ImageShack.
