A part of me believes that unless they find some idealistic unknown actors and actresses, they could never find people who can portray the characters well enough for my liking.

That aside, they could always make a live action comedy of SKU instead in the tradition of the old 'Carry On' movies (Carry On Revolutionising) with

Rob Schneider as Akio *hehe*

And don't forget the voice, there would be nothing worse if you see someone look super hot and then they open their mouth and the voice ends up a major letdown, after all you don;t want someone with a non-sexy voice playing him now, do ya?
