This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

Last place to find an Utena reference. Very last place it belongs.

As tends to happen, Youtube was as usual "recommending" me the very opposite kinds of video I would care to watch, but in this case morbid curiosity actually compelled me to gaze into the abyss. Little did I know what I would find there.

7:32 to 7:51. Don't watch the rest, and WHATEVER you do, don't even glance at the comments. I actually kind of wonder if, out of all of those views, I was the only person to recognize this few-seconds clip for what it is - let alone appreciate how inappropriate is its placement in such a video. One can only imagine what Ikuhara and J. A. Seazer would think. (It's probably not legal use, either.)

lol I assigned that song to a character I was writing so I've been listening to it a lot. Seeing it turn up there is pretty funny on a lot of levels, some of them quite uncomfortable.
