This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

Re: Apple new iPad

BWAHAHAHAHA! Hahah! Ha! HA! Ha. emot-biggrin That's got to be one of the best Downfall spoofs so far.

Speaking of e-paper, I got to see a Nook in real life for the first time yesterday (the local Barnes&Nobles store had a couple of demonstration units). I'm both impressed and disappointed at the same time. On the one hand the display is super-crisp compared to a LCD... it's a huge difference in reading experience. On the other hand, the display update time surprised me -- it must take almost a second to flip to the next page? Combined with the fact that the screen is tiny, and shows a lot less text than a book page even when the font size is set to "so tiny you have to squint and yeah, we figured grannies were not gonna buy it anyway", I could see that getting really annoying really fast.

So 9.99 is too low a price for e-books? Screw you.

And if you do get the iPad, you might want this accessory.

Also MAD TV predicted the iPad over two years ago.
