The Audition - Smoke and Mirrors

Almost as good as a different Smoke and Mirrors by The Magnetic Fields.

Re: so whatcha listenin' to?

It was true that I originally got some of my Utena MP3 from the 'Audiology' section of 'Empty Movement' but when I had to rescue what little I could from my old laptop which more or less died soon afterwards, I was able to get all the Utena MP3s from the 'Rose and Release' Utena music site.

Music I am listening to now:

"Misconstruction" - Apocalyptica

Re: so whatcha listenin' to?

I got half of the SKU music from CDs, half from BitComet. I used to have OST 3 before my CD-ROM player ate it. No, I'm not kidding. It cracked it clean down the radius. emot-gonk

"Stray" - Yoko Kanno

CD-players are weird, mine refused to play anything so I had to get it fixed. Now I don't use it anymore 'cause I have an MP3 player. For some reason I haven't used it in a while now... I suppose I should get new batteries for it 'cause after all, that's the only way I can listen duel songs somewhere else than at the computer. emot-dance

I wish they'd at least release the third one to complete the OST's -> Series Arcs

Plus I have imitation versions of OST 6 and 7.

Yeah, that's defnitely true too.

While I realize that I could get the rest of the soundtracks at 'Rose and Release', for some twisted reason I purposely don't.  I don't know if it's to keep the anticipation of finally hearing them up or what.  In either case, now that I look at it, I have quite a bit from EM's Audiology.

I'm sorry to hear you got bad news emot-frown I hope everything works out somehow.

That song is a really good song, by the way - probably one of their best.

I myself am listening to Don't You Want Me, by The Human League. When I started writing the post, though, I was listening to Under Pressure - hooray 80's!

It'll be fine, I just wish the new year could have started out better than it did. And it really is an amazing song. Whenever I'm stressed or upset, I always listen to it. It soothes me.

Heh, I got into Queen myself through too much Highlander as a child (no wonder I just about died of happiness when I got to the highlands this year; conditioning, and all that...). Although I still find it weird that whenever I hear Don't Stop Me Now I just think of zombies. And I laugh. And I usually don't find the thought of the undead chewing my temporal lobes all that amusing. emot-dance

Re: so whatcha listenin' to?

I actually have that Hooverphonic song. I don't remember it, though. I'll give it another listen later.

Right now, I'm listening to 'Call on Me' by Eric Prydz. CLICK THIS LINK OH GOD. I like pretty girls who look like they're having lots of fun. Also, I was doing the beginner-ish version of this stuff when I was in Strip Hop.

Yeah. I'ma watch that one more time. etc-wankgirl

Re: so whatcha listenin' to?

So for ages I thought that BoA totally didn't interest me and that I'd never get into her music ever or even bother to try...and the other day I accidently heard Valenti and I definitely love it. Dramatic pop music is probably one of my biggest weaknesses.

So I'm listening to that right now. emot-keke
