Hmm . . . I remember reblogging this one on tumblr a while ago as a sort of fic rec.  It is, like you said, pretty well-written in general.  Plus it caters to the Akio Hate train that's prevalent on tumblr.  So, I'm fairly surprised to see how it still hasn't got any comments as of my posting this  (though there are 12 kudos). 

A lot of well-written new Utena fics - and new chapters of existing multipartfics - are simply not getting much (if any) reviews these days.    Even a well-written piece like In Cloud Country (sensational at AO3) only got like 2 reviews over at FFNet.  I'm worried that the actual fandom has shrunken to the point that most Utena writers, no matter how good/bad, can only expect meaningful feedbacks from their existing friends.  And that to me is a sad state of things.
