This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

Tribute to my favorite duel.
The exact moment when I realized that Shoujo Kakumei Utena was so much more than some ordinary shoujo anime.

Re: Utena fanart!

It's gorgeous, YamPuff. And yep, you're right. If it's reputation of vaguely erotic imagery weren't what got me into SKU in the first place, this scene would've cemented that rep on it's own.

That is ADORABLE! Touga's little smirk, and Saionji scowling in the background.

I LOVE IT. Although I'm sad it's missing chibi Akio. school-devil

Akio, you have nice turns of phrase, but your points aren't clear and you have no textual support. I can't give this a passing grade.

Thank you so much guys! emot-biggrin etc-love I actually want to do some more, these babies were made for my Promarkers, they're all so colorful!

Well chibi Utena was originally chibi Akio, but instead of looking cool as fuck he just looked derpy so I switched him out. XD It felt wrong somehow.

Now, full-size Akio with mini chibi everyones running around would be more appropriate :

TIL that YamPuff has an awesome Deviantart account and is talented as fuck. I mean I already knew about the talent but never checked out the gallery and that was a mistake.

Here's a crappy Nanami I made and vectored (badly) and will probably never color cause I don't know how emot-rofl.
Bear in mind that I suck at drawing and anatomy and that it was vectored in a completely unsuitable software. But it was fun to do so there.

Some awesome Utena / Sailor Moon images.

Re: Utena fanart!

I ended up drawing a retro-video game console inspired Utena a few months ago that I figured could fit in here. It started as an experiment with a limited color scheme, but ended up morphing into something that I really love!

Zee, that's adorable.  I love the blushy knees.

What's the point? Art is so useless. It's such a waste of time!
And it's not like anyone else ever wastes time. It's not like you spend hours in front of the television or the computer accomplishing absolutely nothing.
Oh wait.

Re: Utena fanart!

I drew this Anthy while I had extra time after taking a test. I'm not proud of how bad the image quality is but I do like how it came out emot-dance Hopefully more art to come I have to find where I stashed my other Utena doodles.
