Aww, I hope you're okay emot-frown And colonoscopys aren't as bad as a lot of people make them out to be. What you want to avoid at all costs is the elusive barium enema, which so many people agree to and walk in thinking, "HEY AT LEAST IT'S NOT A COLONOSCOPY" and boy howdy are they ever wrong.

::hugs:: etc-love Hope they find it.

And I'm happy because I finally have a working laptop now. emot-keke And my sister and I got a nice mint green car to share. Lots of money since the divorce went through. I'm also happy my dad graduated from treatment center and that mom trusts him enough to let him inside our apartment and hang out with us.

I'm happy because I just got back from London -- and while adventuring I managed to acquire myself a bottle of WATTIES TOMATO SAUCE. Sure, it cost me four times what it would have at home (emot-gonk) but I'm an ex-pat Kiwi who misses her ketchup, dammit. And it's my one-year-anniversary since leaving home. I want my fish and chips with real sauce. emot-frown WHICH I NOW HAVE YAY!

It's also my birthday tomorrow and thanks to a wonderful friend in France I have a present to open in the morning. Yay! emot-dance

Happy birthday Clarice~~

That's like when I found the grocery store I live by now sells clotted cream and cadbury's, which was made of happiness and delicious. For some reason, I can't bring myself to eat other chocolates unless they're heavily flavoured... O_o

I'm happy because today I got a promotional poster for the Utena game and got to go on a (probably normal) adventure!!
...In which I bought the part f the Utena manga I never bothered to read... though I really don't like the manga so maybe that isn't a happy thing. It's more a THANK GOD COMPLETION obsessive thing. emot-gonk

Also got to see people and all that good stuff.

Happy birthday Clarice!

I'm happy that my roommate finally got his Calculus book in he mail so I can stop hearing him bitch about how it's never going to come, he got scammed, etc.  So now, any package that comes is most likely for me!  I like getting packages.

Re: Reasons for being happy

Thanks for the birthday wishes -- and teh Gay Bar. Makes me very happy. etc-loveetc-loveetc-love And I am extra happy because I came home after a totally shite day at work -- i.e. I almost killed somebody, and I do mean this in a literal sense although it wasn't on purpose -- and found that one of my friends had sent me flowers, a helium balloon, and chocolate. Anonymously. As I won't be getting anything for V-Day this is TEH YEY, but...dammit, they won't come forward and admit to doing it so I can have their wily sneaky devious ferret-babies! Argh! emot-mad

Re: Reasons for being happy

I'm so excited, cause I'm going to see the Vagina Monologues tonight. I wore the poster on my jacket all day long, and my car was decorated too...courtesy of theater peeps. Also, the girl who came with my friend & I to have lunch, a turned out to be an actress in said play. And she was in MY car. Woohoo, that's cool! etc-love

Edit: I wanna say Happy Birthday to you too, Clarice!

I'm happy that the surprise flowers I had ordered for my grrl actually made it to her work.  About an hour before she had to leave for the day, but still they made it.
