Look into your recent orders. That'll tell if your order got picked and in what stage it is. Webstores won't just leave you hanging, at least not Amazon.

I just ordered an 11" figure of Umi and an 11" figure of Fuu from Magic Knight Rayearthetc-love  As much as I don't really like Hikaru, I'll probably try to find her someday too so I can have the 'complete set.'  I should probably see if they have anything similar for Zagato, Eagle, or Lantis as well...Clef would be great too.

How wonderful of you, Rushita! It's amazing how much a single goat can provide a family with milk for cheese and yogurt and even fertilizer to improve crops. I wish I had enough money to buy a goat for someone.

They have a program similar to that at our school, rushita. And they send some off the students off for delivery. I can't remember all the details off the top of my head exactly though D: I myself can't go because I'm too sickly, but have been helping with what they can do here emot-keke

Apparently, at FYE, they're giving away $10 giftcards if your buy two anime things or something. Dont know if that's every FYE, but the one I went to anyway. It actually made my purchase less than if I'd only got the DVD! emot-aaa

Talk about splurging--Paradox suggested we buy me a new computer today, so we did.   In our defense, he'd been mulling it over for a few days before he brought it up to me.

Re: The shopping thread.

So I just found out on CNN that Macy's is closing nine of its stores across the country. If you live near one of these, STALK IT!!!  Stalk it like Tsuwabuki was stalking Nanami before episode 6.

Washington Square, Indianapolis, IN

Prien Lake Mall, Lake Charles, LA

Rolling Acres Mall, Akron, OH

Canton Centre, Canton, OH

Randall Park Mall, North Randall, OH

Crossroads Mall, Oklahoma City, OK

Valley View Center, Dallas, TX

Sharpstown Center, Houston, TX -- MINE!

Family Center at Riverdale, Riverdale, UT

Also, for the toy lovers, keep an eye on your local KB Toys. And for technophiles, They're closing all 103 CompUSA stores.

I bought a purse, a pea coat, and a plaid skirt from Torrid.  All on clearance, with an additional 10% off because I joined their divastyle program and got a discount code in a welcome email.  Total, after shipping: $50.  I love clearance.

I'm going to try and find a pair or two of new shoes tomorrow. This probably means I'll have to get dress socks, because at least one pair should be nice shoes, or at least ones that I can wear with a suit without looking like a moron.

Speaking of shoes, is anyone here a Zappos devotee?

Yeah. emot-frown

I need these Mary Janes (but only after a review or two, pls); these cute red patent pumps; and these ADORABLE peeps in navy, red and black patent.

(Size 8, if anyone's feeling gifty... emot-biggrin)

But yeah, that's the biggest problem with third shift. Slow days, I just spend the whole night looking at things to buy with money I don't have. Oh well. What I should be looking for is shoes to wear with my bridesmaid dress which I got the other day.

The first time you looked at her curves you were hooked

And sunk in their teeth, bit your heart and released
Such a charge that you need another touch, another taste, another fix

Re: The shopping thread.

Nunn Bush seems to run very large. I tried on a 8, which I am in pretty much every other make (Even Altama, which tends to run big) and it was WAY too big for me. I did get a nice pair of Nikes though. They're not the most stylish but they're super-comfortable, which is important for workout shoes.

Re: The shopping thread.

I just bought a new range, as my old one tried to kill us last week.  And tonight, I'll be getting a sales pitch for a water softener.

I think my shopping is much less interesting than other people's.  But we did buy Paradox a new pair of pants Saturday.  Clearance $5, awesome.

Now to sit around and wait for my range to arrive this morning.  I can't wait to be able to actually cook again.

Re: The shopping thread.

I actually bought this several months ago.

But its metal! And lined with red velvet!
I'm also fairly certain it was under $15. (I'm thinking 10-13.)
