This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forums, but I've been a SKU fan for many, many years - and I've visited Empty Movement many, many times. SKU is, to date, my favorite anime ever and nothing has ever come close to beat it, although I've certainly seen some come close. Nothing has been as meaningful or beautiful to me; none as rich in symbolism.
ANYHOW.

I've been contemplating re-watching SKU just so I can introduce someone else to it, and with SKU on the brain I was Googling and found this:
http://www.wicce.com/utenapix.html
Info here: http://www.wicce.com/roth21.html
I did a forum search on tarot, and this did not immediately come up - if this question has been answered elsewhere, flag me down:
Does anybody here have a copy of this deck? I'm curious to see more images of it if at all possible (would be great in the gallery) and am interested in who the artists of this deck were, and so on.
Basically - is there more information out there, or do I have to don a detective hat?
Edit: okay, so there is http://www.bukimi.com/net-labo/utena_e.html -- but I can't discern whether this is a legit and trustworthy place to buy these. The main site seems to be down, which is very confusing.

I think its basically that's all the cards, and they're already in the gallery under TV series I believe.
I think it might just have the box and some sample layouts to do with the cards, side from the scans they have up. (It has the major arcana, and copies to like... the nanami and mikage ones.)
...The thing I find suspicious about that one site is that... someone has THAT many sets of it? Holy crap. that one does seem to have the artist's listed though.

Welcome! Yes, we do have them in the gallery, but I'm amazed you can still get them anywhere. I love the tarot artwork.

Hi, angelina! You can see full-sized versions of the Tarot cards by clicking on the thumbnails here, in Empty Movement's very own gallery. I happen to own a set and can tell you they're even nicer to look at in person. I'm also mostly very pleased with the associations between characters and cards, which there's a whole thread about over here which you are welcome to resurrect!

I'd consider resurrecting it since I disagree alot with it (Especially some visual symbolism issues) but... I have nothing other than that to say, so I'll just say that here.

Hey, there seems to be one here.

A bit more expensive, but, you can trust ebay a little more. And ask the seller about it an compare to satyr's deck.
