Aka. Fan renditions of lines from SKU. In fact I'll start this off, with the auditions that I did for the production of SKU on the voice acting forum I've joined.

Come on guys and dolls, I want to hear you guys too! Any lines, any character! Japanese, english, native language of poster, let's showcase everybody!

Juri: Very good! On the second line, I would have put the emphasis on "less" rather than "about." Excellent voice choice!

Anthy: This take was great as far as voice and inflection. The thing I'm gonna nitpick at is mic effects. Make sure to watch out for echoes and clicks as you go in for close takes and pull back so the mic doesn't read the booming. Still great take.

Kanae: Magnificent take. Nothing really to note. That was marvelous!

Wakaba: Great "Utena" scream, good second line, and the crying scene had enough parts that I could clip together into scene. Great job!

Shiori: Nice voice selection. The inflection for line two was a bit off at the end, but I didn't mind it. Third line was great! Fourth line was maniacally awesome! Again, just watch the echoes and pops.

Utena: I'd have liked if you kept the voice you had for the first line for all the takes. Still, your inflection and acting in the other takes were great. The battlecry could've been a bit longer, but again, still okay for like, a fighting scene.

Ok... My first attempt, at showing my beautiful voice at IRG. I used my crappy microphone, connected with headphones, my new laptop, and the standard Microsoft Windows XP sound recording programme.

Hmm, I'm tempted to try this myself now. emot-redface Perhaps I'll try and do a voice or two later on. *must find her microphone* I've done something like this with some friends of mine before. Please don't find it odd that I like to do male voices rather than female <_< I do. I might sling a weak Anthy or Juri in there somewhere though. emot-smile

You have an excellent voice! I agree with them in your Kanae - she was absolutely delightful. Your Juri, too, was quite good, but that Kanae was just perfect.

I used Sound Recorder when I recorded my voice. Make sure you're using a nice headset with mic too.

Though my voice doesn't fit any SKU character entirely, I did the obligatory Juri-voice in my native tongue of English.

If you can't read wma files, then I'll try to figure out a way to convert it. In the mean time here. Your ears shouldn't bleed too badly. emot-biggrin

I also tried Utena, but I was far too sarcastic. Maybe Wakaba in the future - my voice feels much more fit to her vocal level.
