I agree with you, Epee. I don't think that Azure was being called a weeaboo either, but Tamago asked about the term, and I was giving the definition as I understood it. Nothing more.

But yeah, being tagged a weeaboo would not be a pleasant thing at all.

Yeah, y'all are pretty much right. Weeaboo = wapanese. Cannot form a single sentence in English or Japanese, use a hideous sounding mixture of both, brag about how "otaku" they are, kiss Japan's ass in the hopes that the glorious motherland of animu and mango might assimilate them. Despite the fact that Japan in reality is quite far from what we see in anime and manga. God forbid you actually tell them like it is that Japan is not only a very expensive place to live, but it's also difficult for foreigners to move there for a variety of reasons. Hell, it's even hard for the Japanese themselves to live there, with all the social pressure.

I know I'm not one, but when I think "anime girl", I think weeaboos. I might be a filthy fujyoshi but I realize that I am irrevocably caucasian and nothing will change that. Nor do I particularly feel any need to change that. Sometimes me and a few of my close friends throw the term around to joke with eachother, but I really don't like to think of myself as one. I was, actually. A few years back. Maybe two or three. But no moar! The days of shame are behind me!

@Spoon-san: :U Totally forgot the LGBT spectrum. Among a few others, I'm one of the LGBT poster children of my school. XD The lulzy awkward one that play-flirts with anyone.

Chapsticks : kind of butch, but not incredibly so. Lipsticks are the ones you mistake for straight gals, apparently. lol dipstick dykes. Love it.
