I was trying to put Kanae footage to "Grace Kelly" by Mika, but there just isn't enough Kanae footage in the world to make a whole video. So I slipped Shiori in there too. This is an idea and not a finished product because my Macintosh hates me and won't let me finish it.

Then "In The Death Car" by Iggy Pop and Goran Bregovic for what else, but the Akiomobile would be mad hiptastic. I mean, really.

And "Nowhere Man" by the Beatles for Akio/Dios. I was actually quite surprised to find no video for that on YouTube.

Also, another Beatles idea, "For No One" as Saionji/Anthy or Utena/Anthy post-Touga winning or both or anyone, I guess. It's just such an awesome song!

I want to do a video of Utena to One. Yes, I know it's really about being aware in a comatose state. Either that or Ian Christie's version of Sanitarium (Welcome Home).

I have done one to Led Zepplin's "No Quarter" and did some rather unique stuff with it that I personally haven't seen in an AMV. I want to redo it because I only had the movie at the time and I had the whole thing in my head on how I wanted it to go. I also did NOT show the Utena car OR the dance.

I at the moment have Portal on the brain..and on this thread SLoT just said.... Utena AMV...to "Still Alive" the end credits song to Portal (if you dont know that already.) Obviously this wuld be seen from Anthy's perspective (as the one singing is GLaDOS, not because anthy is kinda...android-ish.. but because you could almost see Utena's time at Ohtori as "the experiment")

How about creating a Utena fandub by using sound bites from other animes, ideally using the same English voice actors who do the English Utena dub.

For example: The voice for Shiori was Lisa Ortiz so if it is possible superinpose soundbites from when Lisa was playing Lina Inverse or any of the other roles she has played.

The "I...drink...your...MILKSHAKE!" scene from There Will be Blood with Episode 15's duel.

I've always wanted to do the following videos, or see them done by somebody with greater talent than myself at making AMVs:

"The Boys of Summer" by Don Henley (UtenaXTouga, Touga's POV, later series)
"It's My Life" by Bon Jovi (shuttup, Utena's POV, it makes sense)

I really really want to make an AMV to Fiona Apple's To Your Love, featuring the relationships of Utena, Anthy and Akio, shifting constantly between different perspectives, and just generally being a bit crazed. It works well in my head!

If I ever get my hands on a good movie-making program and the remastered series, I'm making an AMV with Poets of the Fall's "Carnival of Rust", focus being on Akio and his seduction/relationship/hold on Utena and Anthy.  The first part would be Utena, the second Anthy.  I mean, hell, the song sounds like the distorted version of a self-pitying love song Akio would sing to justify himself with Utena and Anthy to me.

Plus it's all dark and sexy and and totally Akio.
