Epic geekage - Metal Signet Ring Designed in 3D
Hey guys! Here's some Utena geekyness. I've been working on signet rings for my friends using some 3D modeling for fabrication. Viola! A metal Utena ring that is not super big for my hands! It's still a work in progress, but the second prototype looks super nice so far! (I won't show the first version...it was a bit horrible...) My goal is to have a signet that also works as a seal, without being super huge on the hand. So far, success! I just need to work on how to color them and how to finish them so my peeps and I can be duelists for the next convention.

I'm in love! You definitely succeeded in making it slimmer, the ones I've seen made suffer a constant excess of bulk that makes my tiny fingers just look silly. Are you going to make this available to the hungry mob once you find a place to make them?

Maybe. I've found a place to make them, but I'm still going to have to finish them myself. It's labor and time intensive to shine and polish them, so I don't know. It might get a bit too expensive to break even making them for sale. Plus, I'm still experimenting and tweaking, especially with the signet colors and blackening for Black Rose rings.
