This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
I took an assload of pics of our house after the hurricane. A lot of them repeat, so I'll just hit one from each angle.
This is part of a neighbor's tree that fell into our backyard.
Another shot of the backyard, note the destroyed fence.
And this is the reason we had to use the back door for a week.
Front of the house.
Side of the house.
Last one. This is what's left of the tree....plus a better shot of the roof.

That's harsh, Raven >_< I hope everybody is okay! *hugs*
These aren't REALLY landscape pics, but I'd like to post them here. I took a small treck around my yard(which is freaking huge) today with my camera and took some random shots of the flowers and plants around meh. Hope you enjoy

It's the one thing I've come to really really love about California.

I don't usually take pictures of random stuff (and I'm limited to my camera phone as far as photography goes anyway), but there was a rainbow outside my house the other day and I decided, "ah, what the heck."
And later that night, a toad was waiting for me on my doorstep.

Toady!!! *watches* ...I do this... I seriously love to watch toads try to hop through solid objects, lol.

Finally got off my ass and took some pictures around campus. XD
The outdoor classroom:
Squirrels! I had to change from Outdoor to Sports setting so that I could get all the little details. Fast little buggers.
I think that these are crabapples, but I am unsure.
Here's a weird sculpture thingy in front of the welcome building.
I think this is where choir and band students go to practice their art, but again, could be wrong.
Prettyyy~
AHAHAHA. So true.
Here's the Clocktower by East Hall.
....Wigwam club?
A bike trail, just for bikers who feel like being stalked in the woods.
Here's East Hall, which is the building where my dorm is.
Annnd finally, that adorable little hot-pink giraffe with glittery gold spots. XD

We finally had a nice day outside! So I took pictures. LOTS of pictures.
Normally, I feel as thought the camera makes things seem more colorful, but today it seems just about right. Except when I covered the camera lens with my sun glasses.

Damn. So much eyecandy in a single thread. I wish I had a digital camera. I'd upload some scenic pics from my trip (since I spent a good hour scanning half of what I wanted to scan and then spending at least an hour editing things, separating, etc). Maybe I'll just put them up on another pic thread. And NajiMinkin, those are some stunning pics.

Your yard is so pretty, Naji! I hope that a majority of the weather this summer will be this nice.
My backyard may be minus a forest now, but it has a bunch of roses. When more of them bloom, they'll be worth taking pictures of.

I went from this..

Ok, here's where I live. I took these photos with a phone cam, so please excuse the quality.

It's so watery!
And so many delicious delicious buildings.
And holy fuck, Naji lives in the most scenic place ever.

When did they paint the bandshell, I wonder? Last time I was at Eola it was still the off white. Looks neat, though.

Ok, the pics not made by me, because I don't have such a good camera, but gotten from the town's interwebz page. So, I live here:
Here's our fountain. It sparkles at night

This be my yard!

The animals:
Banjo - About a year old. Annoys me greatly.
Song, aka My Baby, full registered name Write a Song About Me- A old thourougbred I used to ride when I was little who I no longer can because she's got athritis along her back. You'll have noticed that one could play a song on her ribcage, this is because she has no back teeth, and so hay and grass can't be ground up properly and thus provide her with no nutritional value. We have to feed her a special food. That's why she's hitched to the tree and not in the pen, so the other horses can't run her off her precious eatsies. Fun fact, she's a descendant of famous racey horse Native Dancer, and she was slower than molasses when in her prime. A rare example of a calm, unenergetic, hotblooded throuroughbred.
Small Goathings, Big Goathings, Missing Goathings - They be nubians. I can't remember for the life of me what their names are. I think the older two are named Charlie and Good Old Boy and the two younger have biblical names. Yeah. The two missing are their mother WHO I HATE MILKING GAH and a younger uncut Billy goat. Uncut meaning since he grew with his balls intact his hair is thicker and darker around his neck then what you saw and he smells like piss because that is exactly what billy goats do all over themselves on a regular basis.
The pen on the far side of the front yard holds two dark colored mules, Blue and Jay (GET EET) belonging to my mom and dad.
The backyard pen holds one white mule named Katy and three horses. Two of the horses, a female and a gelding are sorrel. The female's name is Copy (Registered name Justa Copycat) and she belongs to my sister Adrian. They used to barrel race when she was young. The gelding belongs to her husband and is fat and mean. The third horse is a squat little older thing named Sugar who my nephews ride. She's so round you can't ride her bareback, your legs will form a perfect O and you will slide off the side of her. She's a light chesnut in the summer and bay like Song in the winter.
You also didn't see our Great Pyrenees dog Ike, who doesn't come near humans anyway. He wonders a lot, likes to guard the woods behind our house (what is left of them, anyway My dad cut them down for firewood, weakening what was left to the elements) and the field full of cows opposite our front yard belonging to our neighbors, which they don't seem to mind because hey. Free coyote protection.
The video stops just as my dad is asking, "That do pictures on it?"
Y'ALL COME BACK NOW, YAH HEYUH

I just went traveling through the middle of the state, and got some really stunning pictures. I don't think enough people know much about eastern Oregon, which is a completely different landscape, and much less photograph there. Granted, there aren't many exciting cities. But hell you can't beat it in sheer mountain-age! I took these at a gorgeous sunset.
Beautiful views at the mid-state dam. Far down the river, there's a town completely submerged by water.
Awesome full moon over the desert.
Image of the Indian reservation where I was attending a wedding.
Beautiful wild colt roaming the res.
A church that was built in 1954 during the Indian termination act, made to Christianize all the good little natives. It's been long since closed down, despite a now predominantly Catholic population. Kind of a creepy place.

per Yasha's request:
This is about ten miles down the road from me now. I don't actually have terribly many pictures of the places I've lived, largely because looking at pictures of my old home still stings and also because I truly fucking despise Florida.
But yeah. Sums up St. Cloud pretty well.

Katz- Those are GORGEOUS. I never new Oregon was so pretty! I especially love the desert shots, wow. The necklace looks lovely on you
Mocha- That made me picture people cruzing about on scooters fully armed. Hardcore.
This is a few miles drive from my house.
I edited out all the powerlines <w<

Probably not too expensive -it could double as colostomy bag storage.
