In which I suggest we make our own Discord server
Why, you ask? Because...
1. It's what all the cool and hip hop millenial kids are doing now (literally)! It's just plain easier for us to keep in contact, being a text/voice messenger app and all.
2. Which in turn, would provide an increase in general activity of the community. Maybe.
I guess the trade-off of quicker and simpler communication is that there'll less *ahem* productive conversations, but that's what Mods are for. We always have the forums for that kind of thing too.
So, any takers? I'd be happy to set it up myself.

That's a pretty good idea! I'm a pretty frequent user of Discord, and it is a pretty good chat system. Though I haven't done it myself, I've seen folks make and customize some bots to do some neat things if that's something we'd want as well. (OST bot Miki anyone?)

If this exists I'll probably hang out in it. Gio I dunno, Yasha will be scarce as hen's teeth (probably) and other mods, well, I really dunno about their chat tendencies. Satyr will probably show up at some point, though he seems to have been really busy lately. He or DD (or Gio for a long shot) are probably your best bet for the mods' seal of approval.

I'd be happy to join the server if we got one up and running! I already have a Discord account, and an Empty Movement server would give me an excuse to use my account more often.

Discord is... basically a chat program, with some extra functionality for gaming and a focus on group chats. A server is said group chat, with the potential for extra "rooms" for various things, i.e: NSFW.
