This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
Those are some very odd-looking "cakes."

Ok this isn't anime but my vote goes to Mumm-Ra from the ThunderCats, the first time i saw him as a kid he freaked me out so bad i cried. As bad as he is in the show, he's ten times worse in the comic- with him murdering Wily Kat and having Cheetarah raped, both in front of Lion-Oh. And for DBZ villains: Brolly, he tore his way through the universe to get to Goku for making him cry when they were kids.

I'd say that Altena and Chloe from "Noir" are really badass. And Chloe assasinates people with blades... Delicious...

Kazutaka Muraki. Muraki is one of my single most defining villains and I was frankly rooting for him throughout the entirety of Yami no Matsuei.
i immediately begin to imagine myself in an Akio/Muraki sandwich
oh, yes. much the same for me. i've collected all the english manga of Yami no Matsuei, and i'm kind of scared that the manga ka won't finish it at all...
OR bring back Muraki. {with that link, you'll get a pop-up the first time you click the play button. second time, you'll get what you want}
and, since you've reminded me of Naruto...
Orochimaru. he's wonderful.

Orochimaru and Kabuto were pretty much the only reasons I watched Naruto. That's right. I never even bothered with the main three characters. I skipped all of the beginning episodes. Why is it so few of the "heroes" die in this series, and all the actually interesting characters meet sad ends? Fuck, it is so depressing. It's like genocide. But rather than that, it's...interestingicide. Or something. Where the characters that might seem minutely intriguing are systemically eliminated (Kimimaro) or converted into Naruto's bitch (Gaara).
