This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

That's kind of fagalicious, I'm sorry to say.
No gays =No RuPaul, No Elton John, No Scary Cher Impersonators, No Southern Nights or Parliament House...
I'd have to say the worlds of fashion, music and entertainment would suffer greatly.

The Fashion Empire would die.

Landover Baptist Church, the ultimate satire of fundy folks, also has something to
say.
Although LBC is pure satire, I am assured by recovering Baptists that they are not exaggerating very much. Their movie review section is gold.

I almost thought that was real, tampons Satan's little fingers.

I live in Kansas. Fred Phelps is about a hundred miles away from me right now.
So let's hear it for fags, bloody flags, baby eaters and fag enablers! Hip hip!

There goes that Phelps thing again.
Ok, this is the Bad crazy Phelps.

I think this is the appropriate place to share this article. http://www.salon.com/opinion/feature/20 … ell_tinky/

Perhaps, with JF's death...it could be one of those things that happens in threes...
I'm particularly waiting for Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to find their seat next to Judas.

Speaking of WBC. Apparently they're protesting Falwell's funeral.
The big magician in the sky just became the big bipolar magician in the sky.

Urgh- I hope they protest my funeral (if I die) just so I can float from the heavens or erupt in a fire ball from the ground and smite them with a holy and or unholy weapon forged from something beyond the mortal realm.

You're that uncertain as to whether you're going to heaven or hell, huh? Well I personally like throwing something down from heaven. According to the laws of gravity, the impact should be GREAT!!
BTW, can anyone tell me who Al Sharpton is?

wasn't the first thing crossing my mind :p
He doesn't seem too horrible of a person, but the fact that wiki said he might be nominated for the next president... I don't really think that'll happen...

They said that about the last election. Wow, the elections are coming up, aren't they?

Yeah, US News is already talking about Bush again, mostly about how he'll make it in history as the one president who has never showed a single trace of self-doubt.
And I kept seeing pop-ups about Hilary Clinton... it's getting a little annoying...

You know who else never showed a single trace of self-doubt?
Akio.
Just sayin'.

......mention those two in the same breath???
Mama spank!
(Seriously, they have to have like.... nothing else in common. Otherwise my Akio fantasies will be ruined by that horrible ape-face and the unending dribble of stupid that leaks out of his mouth.)

Oh, I should think at some point Akio sucked off Touga.
Talk about a low blow, am I right?
In all seriousness, no, of course they have nothing else in common. Bush will probably never ever ever be truly held accountable for his deplorable actions. At least Akio did get his ass handed to him in the end. There is no moral justice when Gio wants it. Just when she doesn't.
That said...

Ugh, not that thing again.
Edit: When I get home, I'm going to beat you.
Well, no. I'm going to curl up in my chair and pretend I don't feel like I want to die. Today has been excruciatingly boring and excruciatingly annoying by turns.

Actually, I much prefer immoral justice, all things considered. Jerry Falwell, perfect example. His brand of justice is based on a moral framework, but true justice is that he's just as dead as anybody else, and all his preaching comes to nothing now.

I wish I could see it that way, but the impact he had on the political stage in this country will persist long after his death.

I just meant for him personally, it comes to nothing, which is exactly what he is now.
