Well, it's not a real word anyway, and we're not Japanese, and since the way Giovanna said it is the way 90% of American fans seem to say it, then go for that.

Yaoi is an acronym for... I don't remember completely. Some Japanese phrase that means "no point, no meaning" and some other stuff. I could google it if I was feeling inspired enough.

I thought that yaoi was pronounced yowie as well which amuses me no end as there is a chocolate called Yowie over here in Oz.

I cannot say if there is a difference or not in the Creme Eggs that are over here as I was never much into those things, I always prefered the Toblerone when it came to 'special' occassions as I usually get the 400g size as a gift.
