Oh goddess, there were these twins at Katsucon who stayed in my hotel... They cosplayed Miki and Kozue... they were absolutely beautiful... I didn't get a chance to ask them for a pic... (and now that I think about it, they weren't at the Utena panel either... in any case I'm going to go find them on the interwebZ) but I only saw them on my way back from the con and to the rave....

Haha, Shameless self promotion! I used 5 cans of glitter on this cosplay alone, not counting my Anthy, but it was worth it. Also these photos were taken halway through a con so thus a missing button, mostly destyed wig, and half gone make-up emot-keke '

Wind of the Stars is one of the best Juri's I've seen. (I want to some of the other Juri's on here but lots of broken IMGs and links.)

Actually, it was a happy accident! My friends wanted to take pictures of me sitting down with my skirt out and then they were like "oh wow, it looks like a rose!" So it worked out nicely.

Seeing all these cool cosplays makes me regret being so dang shy during a convention I went to recently. There was a pretty Juri cosplayer and I failed to approach her and ask for a pic because I didn't want to bother her as she was busy looking at merchandise in the crowded vendor area... emot-redface

WHY DO MY CONVENTIONS IN TEXAS LACK SO MUCH UTENA.

I even went to dragon con AS utena and couldn't find any other cosplayers ;~;

this is fantastic. Looks like next year i'm going to have to book a trip to Sakura-con just fo rthis.

Also, that video is amazing.
