Who would you chose for Akio/Anthy/Dios's parents or additional family members?
Hope this topic has not been done

For the father of Akio would be either:

Ansem/ Xemnas/ Xehanort (whatever name you want to prefer to him?) from the game Kingdom Hearts.
Brief Listing of Reasons Why:

Hair silver/purple (explains Akio’s hair)
Brilliant and inquisitive mind (wonder Akio is a smarty pants)
Seeks the power of darkness (Seeks the power of revolutation)
Not afraid to use people
Forms an Organization with a Dress Code
Driven/Determine
Obessive
“Submit!” ( emot-redface emot-rolleyes ) a repeating joke for KH

Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 emot-gonk (don’t kill me for this one)

Silver hair    (could explain Akio has lighter hair)
Akio has his tower and Sephiroth has sword    (feel free to draw perverted thought)
Mentally Unbalanced at times    (come on people. doing a flip on to a hood of a car isn’t actually sane)
Likes to torment people
Burns a village    (manga- Akio sets a fire, series- helps trigger a fire via Mikage )
Obsession towards his “mother” Jenova/goals (explains Akio fixation on Anthy)
Powerful
Allusions that he achieved godhood or is a higher being

The only mother I can see for Akio is:

Quarl :grin:from New Vampire Princess Miyu

Wickly Playful Nature
Twisted sense of humor
Powerful
A shinma (a demon god)
Revengeful
Elegant
Queen (Akio wants to be a prince)
Deceitful Appearance
There is a rose on her left cheek and a cute snake necklace around her throat.

Parents I think for Dios and Anthy would be:

André and Oscar from The Rose of Versailles.
Queen Serenity from Sailor Moon (Usagi's moon mother)

I don't think the two could be happy with parents that had evil intentions.

If they had other siblings:
Caith Sith from New Vampire Princess Miyu
Kouji Nanjou from Zetsuai 1989
Karma and Sutra from Twin Angels
Shion and Rin from Please Save My Earth

I could imagine Dark Schneider (Bastard!) as Akio's father. It would explain the white hair, lust for power and sexual charisma not to mention the EGO> *hehe*

As for his Mother, Nodoka Saotome (Ranma ½) would be perfect. With Akio’s looks, charm and success with the ladies, I’m sure he meets with Nodoka’s manliness requirements.

But what I think Akio’s really needs is an older sister that could put Akio in line like Rin. (Midori days) If anyone can give him a good smack to the back of his head, Rin could. *hehe*

However, could Ms. Saotome withstand Roses, Aprons, Cakes in her manly son. emot-biggrin I am sure Akio would deceive her into believing he was the poster child of all manliness, while dangling hints of homosexuality and mocking femminity infront of her face. (would homosexuality be considered unmanly to her?)
I wonder......

I have only seen clips of Bastard and read snippets of manga of the same, but I have seen the first few episodes of Midori Days and I hope to see more soon

How did I miss this? emot-aaa

I recall knowing a girl that was about Dark Schneider the way I am about Akio, and she quite forcefully proclaimed they were alternate dimension brothers, except one's spiky hair beefster and the others cleancut snobby cognac. I believe Dark Schneider is a rapist, and from what I saw of more...frisky...shots of the manga, he's hung like ten horses. So I suppose you could say they have a lot in common, except Akio's not a rapist. He doesn't take 'no' for an answer, but you will end up saying 'yes' whether you meant to or not.

As for the prospect of Sephiroth being his father...well...I doubt it. Unless somewhere along the line the violent streak turned into Akio's sexual energy. I'm sure Freud could work that out somehow. school-freud But if we're on the subject of FF7, MIKAGE = HOJO. Which means Mikage is Akio's great-grandfather. emot-gonk
