Cheezy Horror Films and Why I Love Them!

I watched the original 13 Ghosts, and it was a total cheeze fest! Hoaky floating ghosts! Simple plot line, with the typical American family! It was just . . . cheezy! Like Leave it to Beaver meets The Haunting!

So what cheezy horror flicks have you watched and wish to discuss?

Oh man.  I've seen so many cheesy horror flicks, but I can't think of any!  The only movie coming to mind is Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.  But that's a B-movie spoof, not an actual horror movie.  :3

I thought The Faculty was pretty wussy, actually.  Maybe because I've seen so many other alien-possessing-people movies.

Anything with Bruce Campbell is wonderful. Evil Dead movies, or The Man with the Screaming Brain are just cool cheezy gore fests. It's great.

And I have seen the worst movie ever made, Manos and the Hand of Fate. Don't do it...not ever...and don't say I didn't warn you.

I thought The Faculty was pretty good, the school was a little dilapidated . . . but that is besides the point.

Oh god, I love Evil Dead. One of the best movies ever. Pfft, like modern Hollywood would ever have tree rape scenes.

At a Halloween party a few years ago, we rented S.I.C.K. [Serial Insane Clown Killer]. I t had to be the worst movie I've ever seen. And that made it the best. It's so hilarious, I don't think I ever laugh as hard as I do when I watch it. We're always randomly quoting it, in situations that don't make any sense.

I know. I know.
There is no way to explain it. Nothing in that movie makes any sense.

Peter Jackson's earliest works are hysterical. Braindead is my personal favourite, but you can't go wrong with the exploding sheep in Bad Taste! etc-love
