This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
My true passion in life.
Taking pictures of animals in zoos.
err... yeah.
But since I live ALOT closer to the zoo than say, the wild, it works I think.
And I have an okapi picture too!

Mine's far less graceful. eh heh.
Here's a scenic-y shot from my school...

I'll eventually upload pictures one day when it stops being mean.

I really like the flamingo with black-tipped feathers...I hadn't seen that before.
And the shot of the cheetah is very cute, considering the fence. You're lucky the camera focused on the cat, and not the fence. Or maybe you're just a good photographer.
Now I feel like posting some more cute animal pics.

It was probably luck. ;
I think it did it since I'd zoomed in quiiite a ways to focus in the cheetah though.
knowing me though I might have taken like five pictures and deemed the rest unsuitable.
I feel like going back to the zoo and taking more. Maybe in a couple weeks when I move back next to it.

Some flowers from a Botanical Garden I love
And some cute, local () cats:
Those are reduced versions, because Photobucket sucks If anyone wants a HQ one, just ask! They mostly are 1771x1100 pix.
Edit: Forgot something important: all of them except one of the cats are from my dad's collection

Excellent bird of paradise...they don't really grow here.
And...KITTIES!
Thanks for sharing, Asfalolh.

KITTIES! SQUEEEEE!!
Well, my day has been brightened.
... Now I miss my Dixer. I get to go over to my mom's tonight and see her, though.

Am I the only one who noticed the BUGS?! Eww!
...I mean, pretty photos. Yay. No, seriously. Their sharpness could cut things usual razors couldn't and the framing is wow. (in short :: Yay! Kitties!)

This is the view from our (mine and Purplepolecat's) balcony:

What a sight you have, Corpsegoddess! It's so beautiful

Ha ha
I should have thought that everybody likes kitties
Some more pics, now from Barcelona's Zoo:
I don't have any lanscape pics right now, but I will look for them

What is that first picture of? It looks like a leopard-lion hybrid, is that possible?
Of course, I love these too. These kitties are so cute I want to pet them, even though I know they'd tear my arms off. It would just be there way of showing their love, though, right?

Man, dollface sure is abusive. It's a good thing she's so young, or I might like that.
Anyway, here are some pics I took of the Meyer Circle fountain in KC.
It's in a big traffic circle, so people occasionally crash into it while drunk.:eyeroll:
Another wide shot, but from a different angle...I can't believe I didn't get a shot that took in the whole thing!
Closeup of the central column. (duh)
Some flowers and such nearby.

I love fountains Great photos as always, Stormcrow!

I tend to cross traffic circles covering the shortest possible distance... Without being drunk at all.

Okay, so I bought a disposable digtal camera and wandered all over downtown with it. Let's see what happens.
This is my neighborhood.
This is my office building.
Random flowers outside my office building.
The fountain across the street from my office.
Well, that's the first batch. I still have a few more to clean up.

Ooh, reflecting pool! I really like those. And of course, I always love fountains. For a disposable, those are very nice shots...and why would someone throw away a digital camera anyway? It doesn't really run out of film...
Anyway, looks like you work in a very nice location.
Offline
Yeah Raven I love the place you work. It feels so nice.

So many pretty fountains...

Alright, kids, time for round two!
This is City Hall. It's no cocktower, but lots of dicking around happens here.
This is in Tranquility Park downtown. This is only one side of it. Pay attention to the background.
The tree in the first shot? That's it in the corner of this pic.
That white building in the second picture? That's the same building. That's how huge the fountain is.

The castle where eternity dwells would be a nice place to live.
I do not live in a castle, I do live next door to one though!
Reading in the castle grounds:
The castle next door... I love the vista, the horizontal stress of the structure offset by the vaulted vertical pines, reminds me of Bourani: Conchis' estate in my favourite (John Fowles) novel The Magus.
Something to a-spire to.

OMG, castles! I castles! Actually, I'm a sucker for houses in general. I've ridden public transportation through the rich neighborhoods for the sole purpose of looking at houses.
Anyway, more pics of downtown from me.

Abraxas... is that Paronella Park?

Just one photo from SD. I may eventually post more, but...the thought doesn't appeal to me so much.

This is about a five minute walk from my front door. I like to wade in the pools here.
