I remember seeing those icons recently. I nabbed the next to last one (although the first one was tempting, too) They're all very lovely. And I think I know where you got the Freud Juri rose thing.. was it from Gio and Yasha's comments on one of the wallpapers in the multimedia section? I remember reading that too.

Your fading/text effects are really gorgeous. Only thing is it's hard for me to tell what is going on in the picture because it fades so quickly.

Edit: Hm, now I'm tempted to make some kind of Utena icon game.

Heheh, thank you! I'm really happy you like them. I'm still really just a beginner with icon making, so I like practicing making them. (Utena's really good for making icons of, the images can be interpreted lots of different ways )

Oooh, that icon's dead pretty! Maybe the animation's a little fast, but I like the way the wording fades too.

Sleepdebtfairy, that sounds like a fun idea for a game! I've seen communities run contests like that before. Whether it's just for fun or for a contest, I'd definately be interested in doing something like that.

I've recently converted my girlfriend to Utenaism and she's been noticing that a ton of Emilie Autumn's songs really fit Utena characters. Emilie Autumn is a not too well-known singer, I think, but she's brilliant. She plays the violin and was a child prodigy at it, and all of her songs contain a lot of dark fairytale themes. I had to make some Akio icons with "Dead is the new alive" and I want to make some more EA lyric Utena icons.
